The thing you have to keep in mind is that in the anime, 4000 is the starting amount of life points. So for a direct attacking fusion monster that can potentially take out half of your life points, it makes sense for it to have such oddly specific materials.

Rainbow snake is actually insanely good. It doesn’t need to be on the field to activate the effect. You could just discard it or send it from your deck to the gy

But it can miss timing, so you can't use with cards that discard or send to the graveyard as a cost, only as an effect.

You forgot Backup Gardna used by Rafael in “Waking the Dragons” arc! That definitely needs to be printed to make Guardians more playable

In my head for some vague spin off idea, I considered Silent Swordsman as a protagonist simply with his whole design centered around growing so you know as we'd go thru the show he'd grow in power. And I guess by extension Silent Magician would have to be included too.

To be fair it would be a waste of a slot in your extra deck, it would be fun for collectors but there isn't really any need for it when you can just equip a Blue-Eyes white dragon with Tyrant Burst Dragon for the exact same effect.

Cool Vid man! That snake is actually pretty crazy! Because it says "When this card is sent to the grave", you could literally foolish burial it, discard it, or somehow use it for link material on the field, or any other way that sends it to the grave, it becomes a free raigeki. Also, because it is a monster with no spec summon restrictions, you could keep reviving it somehow to have multiple Raigekis lmao XD That card's anime effect is actually kinda disgusting.

Great video, man. I just have some minor things to add: As a matter of fact, Air Fortress Ziggurat is also completely unaffected by your opponent's card effects, which is simply one of the best forms or protection in the game. Also, Rainbow Snake effect Can "miss its timing" if used as a material for another summon. Royal Straight can actually send the materials from your field, hand or DECK to the GY, which mas a one-card Royal Straight Slasher, which is quite good in fact. The 5 monsters it sends to the GY after summon can be also quite good. Dragon Lady can also attack twice in the anime. Joe chokes when he realizes that. Ancient Dragon keeps reviving itself every stand-by phase because of the field spell Solomon has in play, which actually makes it kind of difficult to get rid of. I enjoyed a lot remembering all those monsters. Hope you keep making videos like this :)

Funny Fact Ancient Dragon(the one used by Grandpa Moto) Appears in the artwork of the Grave of the Super Ancient Organism, if I am not mistaken.

Too bad the DSoD movie didn't reflect that and Yugi went back to using the Dark Magic Duo and the Silent Duo were mere cameos.

I still wonder why the Silent Swordsman/Magician got color changes from the anime to the actual card (even though that excludes the ones you featured on this list). Great video! I definitely remembered seeing some of these cards when I watched when I was little haha

Kristenten Only Silent Magician has a color swap. I don’t understand why as I prefer the red and black color scheme as it’s much cooler, but other than that they’re still cool cards.

4 of the 5 remaining Monsters cards of Gansley are seemingly going to be printed in the recent Collector's Pack, so there is a good chance Eingana will be a thing soon. Probably not Yowie, though.

5:45 You don't have to summon it. It ways "when this card is sent to the graveyard". You can just play foolish burial to dump it.

I hope konami will make more cards based on the Spirit Ka monsters (from that one flashback arc before the ceremonial duel), like Spiria or Duos.

I thought Royal Straight Slasher was meant to be in the regular deck, not the Extra Deck, similarly to Gearfried The Swordmaster. Arcana Knight Joker is the fusion equivalent. Forest Wolf and Globerman need their effects adjusted, in addition, if they are ever made into real cards, in my opinion. Great vid! :)

Rainbow Snake will be pretty broken as a card irl. Its effects only condition is just to be sent to the graveyard, meaning you can discard it from you hand to activate or use it as material for link or xyz to basically clear the board allowing for OTKs

Nice video just wished some of these cards where printed already...and I would love to see what that Fusion between Timaus and Poisen Butterfly

Monkey.D Anis Divine Serpent Geh is a printed card, but the effects differ

I remember watching the duelist kingdom episodes on VHS tapes from the library as a kid. I was always confused on why the cards and rules were so different. To this day I never really learned the real rules, me and my friends back in the day just made them up as we played.

Horned saurus could actually be used in a dice jar ftk, his effect could allow him to attack on the first turn. Allowing you to follow up with dice jar for the win (least consistent ftk strategy ever I know but I had to point out that the card has an interesting effect that could be taken advantage of)

Blue-Eyes Tyrant Dragon will never be printed because it doesn't exist, the dub called it that but it was just a normal Blue-Eyes equipped with Tyrant Burst Dragon which is possible to do already and idk why they called it a fusion monster, I'd assume it was a mess up

Eingana isnt only when its destroyed, much like sangan you can you it to xyz (or synch/link/fusion) to trigger its eff

I could be wrong but I thought luminous clouds was supposed to be a ritual card and Dragon Lady a ritual monster which while still not great would at least make it splashable with ritual support.

5:50 Also it says "send to the graveyard" which means it doesn't have to be from the field. You can use cards like foolish burial to send it to the grave from your deck.

I mean, if geh did have the animeeffect, then it would be kinda dumb because unless you fail to give it any sort of destruction protection through your played cards, you are basically unbeatable. Not to mention that a stop defense(Which was the effect of one of the oricalcos monsters mind you) would just allow you to attack for game regardless of how many lifepoints your opponent has.

Rainbow Snake could actually be good, because it doesn’t specify if it has to be on the field when sent to the graveyard. Discard it in Dark World, field nuke, gg.

Wouldn't Divine Serpent Geh be a stronger anime only monster for the number 1 spot? It has infinite attack and defense, so pretty hard to top that for an anime only. It also has the weird effect that as long as you control that card, you cannot lose the duel per the cards effect if someone ever managed to reduce its attack to 0.

Slifer 10 is broken, the effect is guaranteed to go off every time. It's impossible to do 20 pushups in 10 seconds

rainbow snake enigma is more broken than you think. it's effect does not state it needs to be sent from the field to the grave meaning if it is discarded from hand, sent from the deck to the grave or sent from banished to grave it's effect will activate

Best combo I could think of for that rainbow serpent would be to ditch it in the graveyard and make sure to activate Zombie World so you can change it to a zombie type and spam the living hell out of the Haunted Shrine Trap card? Nah there's prolly better combos for it.

Tyrant Burst's effect equips itself to a monster, giving a 400 ATK buff and triple attacks every battle phase. Get Blue Eyes out with Tyrant Burst and bam. Blue Eyes Tyrant for ya.

Ancient dragon is just red dragon archfiend without the drawback of destroying your own monsters that did not attack.

I’m a little confused. Were you intentionally leaving out final boss monsters like Great Serpent? My memory of YGO is pretty hazy. I come by your channel now and again for some nostalgia (I’m turning into an old fart so I can’t keep up with the actual game anymore), but I remember some of the filler final boss monsters being pretty absurd, unless they eventually DID get printed.

now that I know horned saurus and earl are fusions I want both. royal straight slasher is interesting, though that would have come out in king's court. I wanted the rest of leon's fairy tale deck to be printed, but I guess they're not going to be. Congrats to blue eyes tyrant dragon for coming out in some ocg pack.

If they ever wanted to print Dragon Lady, they'd likely need to change the name for the TCG to avoid potentially offending someone.

You Could Send Rainbow Snake From Your Hand To The Grave Just To Activate The Effect

Considering Ipiria (another one of Gansey's cards) is being released in the new collection pack, we might get Rainbow Snake.

Never knew heavy metal king was so strong. Imagine if the card was used against Winged Dragon of Ra or Dart's infinity Divine Serphant Geh.

It seems like a non-optional when-effect to me. Which would mean that it ignores timing.

Aren't Heavy Metal King and Blue-Eyes Tyrant Dragon just regular monsters equipped with a particular card rather than a unique monster ? Both can be recreated in the real game and in the case of Heavy Metal King, it doesn't follow the same rules as the other Metal monsters (+400 ATK and loses Metalmorph's ability)

Appearently Blue eyes tyrant dragon is a dubexclusive thing and in the original, it really was just the equipeffect. Would still be cool to have it as a seperate card for completion tho. When it comes to Heavy metal king, that is basically what the metal rankups are supposed to be. Red eyes metal dragon and metal zoa are memed for being so bad that they are just wasted deckspace. Heavy metal king would be a straight upgrade tho because it gets rid of metal morph, making it impossible to remove it to get rid of the effect.

Wow Heavy Metal King keeps the Metalmorph effect. Wish the two real Metalmorphed Cards (Metalzoa and Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon) had that.

No. And they're not similar at all. The only thing they have in common is that they're fusions of the Three Musketeers of Face Cards.

rainbow snake ddoesn't say "from the field to the graveyard", meaning even if it was discarded it'd nuke your opponent's field.

I hope they print out blue eyes Tyrant dragon and I hope they bring more of Fusion cards and I hope to see the that dragon and More Of Armor cards ending me to bring Rebecca's cards to and more cards from the anime didn't print out cards yet
