I had six pages of questions ready, so get a beverage and a project. Let's hang out and craft! There is so much here about weaving, knitting, crocheting, spinning, dyeing, fleeces, weaving rugs, weaving towels, just about everything! I hope you will hang out with me (and John for one question)! Thanks so much for all you give me. I appreciate you!
Thx, I love you! Bye!

Keeping everybody else happy wasn't working at all 🤣
One of the first episodes I watched you talked about how you struggle with anxiety. It was so genuine and it gave me a boost of confidence that people who suffer with anxiety and depression ( I suffer with both) can do so much and it's interesting to other people. Thanks for that Trish! I'm happy to have found you on youtube. You continue to inspire me.

I'm so glad you can see that anybody that struggles with these issues has so much to offer the world. You're a whole person with a lot that others can learn from and be entertained by. If I can help anybody see that, it's worth it!
In regards to what you may not be able to spin on a spindle; I could not do a lot of art yarn techniques. There very well could be ways, but decided it was time to get a wheel 😅. This was about four years; I have now fallen even deeper down the hole and just got an Ashford super jumbo e-spinner. I ‘needed’ the huge bobbin.😂
Yes. You have made my life better. Sometimes I hoard your videos for blue days just because you will make that day better.

Everyone is the villain in someone's story 😉.
I always love the Q and As, I had kind of wondered about John's new across-pan- dyeing technique but figured he had a good reason/thought process behind it, as he always does, so I didn't think to ask. And the attention span of the goldfish comment had me laughing so hard!! You know I'm going to tell you to do what you do and don't let other people's expectations get you all twirly up in your head, this is your channel, your journey and your sanity, we're just along for the ride.

Thank you so much for answering my question John! That makes sense and is so considerate of you to take the time to dye yarn vs fiber differently and with the knitter in mind for both. 😊
hi Trish! watching this while flicking locks. just wanted to say, goldfish are known for short memory span, but that's actually incorrect. they have short attention spans, not short memories. so you were actually right! loved John's cameo.

I can’t say it enough either, Trish, I appreciate you and you certainly enhance my life (still shielding, after three years🙈) and are a constant inspiration to me! Seriously! I really enjoyed this Q & A session - I learned things and got ideas from your answers…so thank you! I was wondering about missing holes/slots in reeds to accommodate art/textured yarns…I probably would have just missed holes and ended up with no shed😂😂😂 Mind you, my husband is my warping partner and I bet he would have noticed that…🤷🏼♀️ Anyway, now I know!😊🙏

I did go back and watch an older video of yours showing close up of how you do the flick carding, and I gleaned a lot from that. There are a couple of KZreadrs that drive me crazy, but that's on me and I would never tell them. Its really only my business what I think! 2. Hi Trish, I measure where I am in weaving by tearing off a small scrap of paper, pinning it to the fell line and noting how far I've come (from the beginning). Then as I advance the warp, I measure from the slip of paper to the new fell line and add the new amount. Not very high tech but it works well enough for me.

Apparently it is that kind of cameo, John, Word Up! I can confirm that Trish does deliver on her giveaways - I got the fiber I won in no time! I'm getting breaks in different places, so probably a bit of everything. I'll have to keep experimenting. @@FiberLoveDiary Come on baby, what's the word? ;)
About the lanolin question, I do the Suint Fermentation Method, and it cleans out poopies and gets out a great deal of dust but leaves most of the lanolin. If I wanted to get it extra clean after SFM I would very lightly wash in lukewarm water but I haven't found that necessary and wash the yarn after spinning....so it might be a good method for them to check out!

John cameo, cute lol. Cool moth hanger. I didn't know those existed. Agree, you can spin just about anything on a drop spindle no matter the prep. If it's too heavy you can switch to a Turkish. Ripping fabrics always gives a straighter. I could use a space at least the size of our garage for all my crap lol. When you say "pick the wool", are you just flicking them out? Does that keep it from getting neppy on the drum carder? Is "neppy" even a thing on the carder? Wish the Frankenmuth mill did more than bedding. That's good to know that carded and dyed roving of your own can get a bit compacted. I've had that happen sometimes and thought it was something I did wrong lol. I like how that yarn turned out too. Wasn't sure if it was blues or black and grays.
