I Love to listen to the music you play & would love to know who the music is by so i could download look for it.Thank you for an enjoyable visit😊
Oh gosh, I have lots of knitting/spinning plans for 2023, some of which I didn't get to start in 2022. I plan to master socks (so far, I haven't managed to knit the heels, I've tried many ways, but I drop stitches). I have a few sock patterns by Fibre Tales, Humlebi socks, Gro socks and Var socks. I'd like to knit the Nurmilintu shawl by Heidi Alander in my naturally hand dyed yarn Scotch Broom Crop by Wool and Pine Gloam Cardigan by Caitlin Hunter in my handpun A Girl's Best Friend shawl by Isabell Kraemer And a Clint Eastwood style poncho for my son with my brown handspun I will talk about my progress on my KZread channel if you would like to see how I go
Merry Christmas Casey.

Nice to see your podcast again! I do hope you will get your voice back and feel better. I need to organize my 2023 knitting plans and this was just what I needed. I splurged with yarn purchasing these last couple of months and have discovered the joy of getting beautiful yarn in the mail! (I got that sock yarn from farmer's daughter too) This is indeed dangerous, but a plan for knitting all the things will help. Look forward to your next video!

I am new to your podcast and really like your knitting honesty and content. I am currently finishing the Moxie Jacket by Caidee. I want to finish this so that I can cast on my first Felix sweater and then the Daily Sweater, Purl Soho pattern. Happy knitting. I am currently sewing a dress and a pair of wool pants too.
So much inspiration Kaci! I have done my make nine list 2023 but like you said it might change at any time 😂 I am joining your KAL with a crochet sweater which I wanted to make for a long time now 😊 Wishing you and your family all the best for the new year 🎉

Wow the Calle sweater looks so fantastic. Really thinking about joining the knitalong. If nothing Else it will help me get a sweater on my needles. Maybe even one for myself!!!
It’s nice to hear your knitting plans. I’ve just about cleared my needles- finishing with some super bulky hats. I can’t decide what’s next…. Vest? Cardigan? Sweater? Hmmmm. I am planning to join Bakery Bears blanket year-long KAL as well as Knitty McPurly’s Lent Shawl knit along. I really enjoy the support that comes with a kAL!
Gorgeous knitting plans! Can't wait watching your progress! I also want to knit Caitlin Hunters "Ilya" (still waiting for the yarn ...) and "Bressay" by Marie Wallin ... and the "Winters Beach Cardi" by Andrea Mowry ... or "Elah" by Isabell Kraemer ...😅 ... and a lot of other beautiful sweaters, which are not published yet. 😎 All the best for 2023!

I think one of Aimee sher’s patterns would be lovely with the nutiden! She uses it a lot and I’m test knitting for her right now. She’s incorporating bust darts into some of her patterns, like the building blocks cardi I’m knitting right now and I’m pretty excited to see how it affects the fit!
So much fun to think about and plan future projects! Looks like you have a nice, cohesive palette and awesome yarns. I'm curious to see how the yak mix will hold up for socks?

I want to knit all the things!
Oh my goodness! Yes to lists and then changing plans😂! I think it’s super helpful to make these plans even as we change them because the general change will often be in the same category with a similar aesthetic. I want to knit the Half & Half I was in process, but had to rip out because I had screwed up my wrap & turns😢 In the end it was ok because I changed my color combo (I was not too far, but that cast on) The other thing I want is my triangle shaped shawls because the sit so perfectly on the shoulders when I’m sitting (and homeschooling) Last thing, never apologize for your stash! It brings so much joy 😊 I have too much and some old skeins but they don’t mind hanging out 😅. Some day I would enjoy a stash tour and how you store your yarn. I normally “toss” my stash (see the Yarn Harlot’s annual tradition) a couple of times a year & it is so inspirational ❤

2023!!! I also have sweater #20 on my list to knit. For your KAL, I think I want to do the arctic light sweater by Kika knits or the throwback by Andrea Mowry. But I am also staring at my Kim Hargarves patterns wanting to make another one.

Those sound wonderful!
I just made my 2023 knitting list last night! I plan to finish my Melting Marl blanket (my only WIP heading into 2023 with me), then I want to knit the Acorns & Antlers sweater, Festive Yoke Pullover, Stripes Sweater, Travelers Cardigan, Alku Cardigan and the Aurora Cabin Shawl, as well as many pairs of socks and maybe a few hats. 😅
@YoungfolkKnits

That is an amazing list!!!
I’m hoping to spin a decent yarn for making a nurtured sweater by Andrea Mowry! She designed it using some of her earlier hand spun so hopefully I can manage it 😅

Yes!!! That sounds perfect!
No judging here, just curious because you have chosen so many beautiful knits this year. How many projects do you feel comfortable having on your needles? If I remember correctly, there is no limit!! YOU GO GIRL!!! I think I may be able to knit all these in my lifetime. ; ) As for me, I only feel comfortable having three going at once. If I can’t stand it, I may have four, but that is pretty rare.

I have 2 quantity's of sweater yarn for hubby and I but never knitted a sweater before (I crocheted a kids sweater) so that's my big goal this coming year! And then I do want to do a pac man Afghan for hubby he's been asking for it forever (it will most likely be crocheted, a flip flop project so my hands don't get to sore knitting) but the main color is black so hard to see 🤷🏼♀️

I am the queen of mispronouncing words, so believe me when I say I mean no disrespect nor snobbishness, but you have adorably mispronounced the word cognac! It made me chuckle. It is pronounced Koh-nyack. I only comment because I appreciate being gently told when I mispronounce. I suspect like me you were a precocious reader and learned words from books when you were very young and no one around you was using those words! I can't tell you how many times I have found out that I have been saying a word wrong my whole life! I adore everything about you and your podcast. Happy Holidays
