The new season of clone wars has gave me me a new aspect on revenge of the sith. The struggle obi wan, anakin and Ashoka went through is sad when you see how it all ends.

It’s ironic how it took years for the clone wars to end, to bring “peace” to the galaxy and destroy the sith, yet it took sidious and Vader to tear it all down in a day or 2.

the way he says "you turned her against me" and the music playing just hits such an emotional chord. it's so hard to watch his fall because of what he gave up. he just blew it, absolutely blew it. nonetheless, anakin/vader is forever my favorite star wars character. he had the coolest character arc ever.

His appearance matches Vader perfectly, but it's a few really badly delivered lines that stained his reputation. However, some of that's forgivable because... come on... how are you supposed to deliver "I don't like sand" well?

Qui-Gon is someone that Anakin saw as a father when he was 9 years old, Obi-Wan is more of the brother and Ahsoka as a sister during his adulthood in the Clone Wars...some things are STRONGER THAN BLOOD and that is no justification, nor there is NO justification.

His wife was the last thing he owned. But because he turned to the dark side and apparently killed her with his anger unintentionally. He didn't have anything anymore.

Man it’s so sad how TCW made Anakin so likeable and it sucks to know that the guy you’re rooting for is gonna turn into this monster

That's always been George Lucas' vision of Darth Vader - a character who was betrayed, and is paying for the consequences to his actions. "The person you thought was the villain, is really the victim."

Anakin being betrayed was never Lucas’s intention. This was always the story of a good man who is corrupted by fear.

I love how just after obi wan says:you have done that yourself anakin starts taking off his cape like:are you chalenging me? so okay

By far my favorite line in all of movie history

Such a great film. Nowadays cinematographers with all the tech that they now have can’t make such a powerful emotional scene. This was the peek of Star Wars, the cgi wasn’t the best yet but it still did everything right and better that other cgi movies from that time and from today. The newer movies are missing all the action the older movies held and the story telling didn’t improve from after they started to forget making good action scenes

The way the music hits when he says “You turned her against ME” and he takes of his clock. I remember seeing this opening night when I was 14 in theaters and I was like oh shit something crazy is about to go down.

Man this is so emotionally charged. I need to rewatch this in full.

More like just the Siege of Mandalore arc is the best of the series. Bad Batch arc was good and enjoyable, but not too noteworthy in the grand scheme of things, while the Martez sister arc was kind of dull. Not bad, but definitely not great.

I watch this like once every day.

Anakin has few words here but I liked to think he is drunk off of the dark force

I wish people understood that Anakin's fall was the fault of his fellowship and a reaction to the actions of the Jedi. what if Morpheus didn't believe in Neo like Windu? what if Neo was not allowed to save trinity because of some bullshit policy? how would Zion have fared against the challenge ahead without him or against him? How would Frodo or Harry Potter do if their fellowships didn't trust them and didn't believe in them hmmm? he is never complimented on his skills which are beginning to surpass the council in stead they fear him and put doubt in his mind. Neo actually doubts himself more then any one of his companions on his journey and they end up being his motivation. there is no Chosen one successful without a Fellowship to carry them when they need it.

I don't see how everyone hated the prequels and hayden. I grew up with the prequels and i enjoyed them and then i was introduced to my dads star wars films and liked those too! Just weird now how all of a sudden everyone loves hayden since his return in the obi wan series and loves the prequels, but never showed him this love when these first came out.

The dialogue in the ot is soapy af too. I think the movie industry changed more so than George Lucas’s Star Wars between trilogies. Ask the og actors what they thought of their lines in the script. George never gave up the soap opera, and you see here why. It’s beautiful when done tastefully
