I always cry listening to this song. The phone call in the beginning was his dad, who died after a truck fell on him at work in September of 2013, so never got to see the heights his son reached. This was his first time visiting the grave since the funeral and his brother's were there with him. 😢😭
This song makes me tear up. Lost my dad of cancer when he was 50 & I was 26 in 2006.

Cole was talking to his dad at the beginning of the song, telling him he had just signed with Warner Music. He then drives to his family's home to celebrate his record, reminiscing how his Dad should be there. Great song.
I played this song at my dad's funeral. I miss him ❤ this song is hard to listen to sometimes
