I've watched many of your reviews. Most of them were upbeat songs and this song I really appreciate..after seeing your reactions so many times, I can really feel how much this is affecting you..I think there are times you almost cried but kept composure. I literally cry almost every time I watch this. I'm not much of a country fan, but this song is very good..the lyrics are meaningful and relatable and just heartbreaking to see his sadness and mental torment over his father's sudden death. Good job on this reaction. Thank you!

My Dad is still around. He is the best Dad ever the best friend I've ever had in this crappy world. This song makes me dread the day he is gone, if that happens before it's my own time. God forbid. But I know that if it does happen I will be able to remember fondly the greatest man I've ever known and still be happy to call him Dad. Love ya Dad.

Hi mr. Doc! You're video popped up on my feed and I've really enjoyed watching your reactions to songs. I love seeing your tender heart. Two songs I might suggest are Why me Lord? Written and sung by Kris kristofferson. My dads favorite song and we had it played at his funeral. The other is Where Have you Been? By Kathy Mattea. Both beautiful songs.

It does suck losing a parent. My dad was only 61 when he passed away 3 years ago which was a year after my wedding. This song means a lot in many ways. Don't take nothing for granted. Stop living by the YOLO. I hate that saying. Because you don't only live once , you live everyday you open you eyes. And I can't say that you only die once either because if it's not your turn to go then you won't go.

This song is very personal to me. Grandpa was my hero. Someone even in my adult years I looked up to. I made him some promises & im keeping them. Getting my DL is one. I know when I get It he’ll be riding with me. Becoming a pro wrestler...having my first match. Knowing my father will be there to watch me pursue what I LOVE. Dad had a handful of matches but wrestling isn’t a passing interest. I love it with every fiber of who I am.
