I’m way too old to have known about boys to men. The first time that I ever heard this song was Home Free singing it. There was so much talk about boys to men that I finally listened to their video. For me, absolutely no comparison! I am 1000% Home Free all the way. As others have said, Home Free doesn’t do covers, they do upgrades. 👍🏼❤️ I have been following Home Free since February 2016. There is nothing that they cannot do!

I was about 7 when I first heard the Boyz II Men version of the song and I've probably listened to it thousands of times. I love Home Free but though they did this cover justice, it's still far from the original! Boyz II Men all the way!

And the fact that Austin did what he did with one of the most classic songs ever, and by Percy Sledge, no less, is every bit as mind-boggling as the group's pulling off this iconic Boyz to Men number.

I like Home Free too but I am first a Pentaholic. I don’t compare them. But I do enjoy the fact that one of the groups has a cellist, saxophonist, pianist as an occasional accompanist. (Kevin).

These guys do an amazing job of this song! They can do any genre including R&B. Rob's voice has so much feeling & soul in it. Austin adding his higher tones, Chance is holding down the bass in the back, Tim adding some deeper bass notes & Adam with his fabulous vocal percussion. These guys are my favorite a cappella group out there. Shawn Stockman from Boyz II Men was one of the judges on the "Sing Off" that Home Free won & he was a big fan of these guys from the start. I'm sure he loved their version of this song.

When they were on the NBC show the Sing Off (they won in 2013) Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men was a Judge and he loved them. Rob really killed it. Rob can sing opera too. They are all super talented men. They have so many great songs…some make you cry some make you laugh but they’re all good. Love them!!! 😍🥰

HOME FREE does that song justice. Shocking as it is, but THEY CAN 'SANG'! Very unbelievable how great they really are as far asvoices, acapela and production values and the final products. Producer knows what talent he has to work with and he proves it , song after song after song!!!❤❤❤❤❤

Also, got to checkout Tim Foust’s solo single, Will You Love Me Tomorrow/Stay. The Home Free bass singer shows off his entire 5 octave range and shows he is the most versatile singer in the group.

Rob "takes us to church" quite often. He is very versatile. He doesn't want to put this in their shows, though, because he said after they recorded this, his voice was adversely affected for several days.

These guys prove that soul is not a black-or-white thing. Soul is a God thing. Praying your precious little one feels better soon. Great reaction.

And just remember, no drums,no music just pure talent.

Another epic one which is also in season is alud Lang syne. Trust me you'll want that one on repeat for a bit too. It is almost literally vocal heaven.

You should check out How Great Thou Art. The guys filmed this in the Austrian Alps while doing a European tour. The only thing more breathtaking than the scenery is the incredible rendition of the song! You will be in tears. Great reaction here - love you guys!

Shawn Stockman of Boys to Men was one of the judges of the Sing Off and he LOVED Home Free!!! Said they weren't your average singin white boys.

They KNEW that if they did a Boyz II Men song, they would have to do their best. And they did. To show RESPECT for the song and the Group that made the song. And GREAT Reactions. Tis the season to watch and listen to "Do You Hear What I Hear?" arranged by the beatboxer. You really should wear headphones as you can miss the subtle background harmonies and riffs, etc., especially on this song. It is a complex arrangement and a FEAST for ears. The setting of the video is pretty cool, too (double entendre).

They're all vocal chameleons - Tim (bass) has a 5+ octave range, all the others have impressive range as well. Rob (glasses) & Austin (curly hair) have a duet of Puccini's aria "Nessun Dorma" (on Austin's channel). I think you'd really enjoy HFs rendition of "Spaceship". Back in the day, it would have been called "blue-eyed soul" (ask your grandparents).

I dare this group to sing it live. It sounds like they used Autotune, because the tone is too perfect. Boys II Men didn't have Autotune to make their voices sound perfect because it didn't exist until 1998 and was first used on Cher's album Believe.
