They have to say "listen he's one if not THE greatest player of all time, he's been a fantastic professional but I think he's let himself down there. A hundred percent he was one of the best and if you're one of the best then the manager should treat you with a bit more respect because make no mistake about it Ronaldo is one of the greatest". @Gautham Ramesh. As a Liverpool fan if I thought Gerrard wasn’t good enough then I would’ve thought that, but I don’t. People forget where Rangers actually were when Gerrard took over, Rangers didn’t look like winning anything, and yes things take time and he won the league title up there. Gerrard took a Premier League job too soon, and the Villa players were not playing for him. Do I think Gerrard could replace Klopp, no I don’t. I think and Gerrard thinks that any talk of managing Liverpool is not in the near future. It’s something like at least a decade or more. Gerrard has said that if Liverpool come calling and he doesn’t think he’s up far the job, he will decline.

His criticism of Simon is that he relies on Wikipedia/stats, but that's precisely what we should use to study a situation and then reach a conclusion. Of course all opinions are biased, but not all are biased to the same degree. Bias may well affect the way you interpret Wikipedia, but if you don't even look at Wikipedia then all you have are your pre-conceived ideas which are inherently based on your own biases. Off topic I know. However I have been out of the country and don't know the outcome of the Sinclair controversy. Did TalkSport rightfully sack Trevor Sinclair after his racist Tweet or have they kept him on. There appears to have been a complete blackout since the incident. Part of me suspects he is deliberately been kept out of the discussion completely so they can reintroduce him at some point. Yet if a white presenter had said something equally as abhorrent about a black person, then they'd have been toast from day one.

Going round multiple clubs is not a far fetched idea anymore. How long do managers last these days at clubs? Guardiola has spent more time at City than he did at Barcelona and Bayern and Barca is his hometown province. Year's ago it was unattractive for a manager to go to so many clubs and not stay for long but the game has moved on now. Clubs will sack successful managers just because of not having entertaining football, for not playing certain players and so on. So why is it still considered so wrong for a manager to travel the globe to different clubs?
