You should definitely add "Benidub DS71" to the video title. I spent ages looking for in depth videos of this product but could only find the official Benidub overviews which are no where near as thorough as your video. I finally ordered one 2 days ago but would have bought it much sooner if i'd found this video first. I'd deliberated for over a week whether to buy this or one of the many 'home-made' types for £150. Really looking forward to it arriving.

I almost think this could be built in bitwig Bitwig has a test tone It has an oscillator device It has filters, modulators, and adsr modulators. It even has a sample and hold. I think if a pitch shifter was modulating either the test tone or oscillator devices, maybe with dc offset added, the same thing could be made as a preset in bitwig.

@@VincentsVideoVisionsit all depends on how seriously you take a hobby/music production. its a cool box but not really for me but i wouldnt argue the price. if youre already into modular synths and other analog stuff $400 is probebly not the most expensive thing you own XD it all depends on perspective. for instance i have way to many hobbies. cars, gaming, playing guitar. i dont have enough money to invest in all of them but if playing guitar was my only hobby i could easily blow all my money on a new guitar. my dream guitar is a gibson firebird. if youre lucky you could find them for like 2k-2,5k for a used one 😅

This gives me a boner I could totally use this on my drum and bass tracks, usually make my own dub siren stuff in a daw with a modulated subtractive synth. That box is just pure fun.

Richfield Kirthan yeah I’m afraid I win that one 😂 as there’s no proof you liked it first even if you did. However everyone can see my comment is first if you sort by oldest->newest . Better luck next time. You gotta do it as soon as your phone makes a notification. With practice you can get better. I find some performance enhancing herbs or good coffee improves the reflexes. I sit for many hours looking at my phone waiting for the right moment. Sometimes days. Anyway have a good day bro!
