    No one talks about how MUCH to pan value wise. Like 1V and 2V, should they be the same value? What value is that? I'd think they would have different values since the 2V are behind 1V. How much are we to pan value wise? All the way? Elaborate?

    Idk why but the non-panned version sounds better to me 😂 (a bit more warmer-ish? Since the high freq sounds are a little bit masked by the prominent mid range freqs, idk)

    I believe it's because of frequency masking. Since each sound has it's own pocket of space, you can hear all the frequencies of each sound, which makes them sound louder.

    I do this as well every so slightly on high hats to make them feel a bit more real - auto pan is ace!

    You can narrow the stereo width by click and draging up from the center of green line of the stereo pan knob.

    The panning makes it sound a lot less hectic in my ears. I'm using panning, but I can definitely get better at it :P
