I did a Hard Mode Iron Man recently where I accidentally got Shin killed in 14X. My immediate thought was "Well, at least I'm not going to Sacae!"

Note that one (or even both) of the pegasi or nomads dying won't actually lock you out of their respective routes, as the EXP total they had when they died will still be counted. You will lock yourself out of the true ending if you go to Sacae while either Sue or Shin is dead, though, as their survival is a requirement for the Mulagir gaiden chapter. Curiously, the same thing doesn't happen if you go to Ilia while Shanna and/or Tate are dead, as their survival is not required for the Maltet gaiden chapter.

@@athath2010 Correct. At that point in my run though Shanna and Tate had already gotten more EXP than Shin, and I had benched Sue.

​@@athath2010iirc thats because maltet gaiden chaoter is actually dependant on Juno and Zelot surviving. Not sure why its not Thea and Shanna who needs to survive though

Add a well trained anima mage because light brand does fix damage at 2 range and anima is super accurate with extra hit due to WTA

As a Brazilian i can confirm that sacae is pretty much elibe's equivalent of brazil

That's why I always get Sue killed. I refuse to go to Sacae

Why not just bench her? I remember using Sue in Illia

On my first blind playthrough of fe6 i ended up going Sacae and you better believe i dropped the game for a whole year before giving it another chance. Words cannot describe he joy i felt when i realized there's another path I gotta say tho now that i have a slightly higher tolerance of the game Sacae can be hella fun lol

I lost my first ironman attempt on Sacae, though thankfully i managed to beat Sacae in the second run. btw for anyone curious, movie is The Princess and the Frog.

Same. I always ironman my first run of a new fe game (with the exception of three houses) and the fight against the Djute clan was where I lost almost all of the units I had left. I managed to seize the throne (Tent) but I didn't have enough units left to beat the bulgar chapter. All I has left was Roy, Clarine, Cecilia, and a fae with like 3 dragonstone uses left. Had to make a new file.

Druid Ewan traveled to Elibe just to beserk you.

The Law of Sacae haunts my dreams. It doesn't help that when i first played it I decided to camp and kept being overwhelmed by the 5+ Nomadic Trooper reinforcements that lasts like 1000 turns. The other three maps were probably annoying too but i only remember that first map.

Thank god for the Delphi shield so Minerva can enemy phase those archers. God I still get nightmares from those staff users

Bartre is on the route split during the Western Isles. So, don't worry, Bartre the Brave can brave Sacae (and get doubled by everything there).

Is Sacae really that bad? The one time I did a full playthrough of Binding Blade I went the Sacae route and didn't think anything of it.

Well, I played this one enroute to Sacae. It was easy when use General Tanks and Max level stats every units , but no one dies. Xd.😆

I went to Sacae on my first playthrough of The Binding Blade because I never used any of the Pegasus Knights. The maps suck.

I prefer Ilia because I wanted to get Juno and perform Triangle Attacks. Is Sacae really that hard?

It's hard on Hard Mode, where the enemies get buffed up and have better stats. On Normal Mode, it's not that difficult.

All nomads have 2 range and are everywhere. Without Barthe, you can't draw aggro just to fight back because there's literally no existing chokepoints in Sacae than the Ilia chokepoints.

Is FE6 that hard ?

it depends how you play. the hit rates are low. but you can also over level in the arena.

One day we will get a remaster of FE6 and FE7 as a single game.

Normal mode Sacae has perfect difficulty, slightly tougher than FE8 Hard more while not exclusively being for sweaty tryhards. Although having two Nomads is already adding difficulty by itself

Considering how ridiculously hard using the pegasus knights before you get to Ilia must mean that you need to bench the Sacae nomad units despite their great early game.

@@bvd_vlvd Yeah. I just seem to use Pegasus Knights more often because of their mobility tho. I already have Wolt and Klein for my archer needs. Dorothy is scary as a sniper too if Wolt didn't turn out like I expected.

@@xxx_jim_the_reaper_xxx Yup, Wolt will usually get one good stat per level and beat base Dorothy by a few points by the time she joins, but it's so funny to me that she's just FE7 Will, probably the worst character in the game, essentially airdropped into FE6 and is so good in those lategame Bern chapters where she does over 40 damage with Silver Bows to wyverns while also doubling them :D But yeah, pegasi have the most utility in the game (maybe a bit less than Valks technically?) - still doesn't mean you have to give them experience unless you're aiming for Ilia

@@bvd_vlvd I ALWAYS aim to go for Ilia instead of Sacae whether it be either an ironman, LTC, or a casual playthrough. I just don't want experiencing the headaches just from going to Sacae since axes are already bad enough and now you're expecting me to hit a Swordmaster boss with an axe?

Why is your Roy level 7? There have been at least two if not three arenas by this point.

Honestly I prefer sache cause it’s a good challenge and ilia is pretty easy and shanna sucks and Thea is alright. (Fe6 Thea no AS Thea AS Thea is the best waifu) so Yeah sache best route.

I'm starting to realise why I don't like this game very much.
