  Of course a Lv. 7 Roy would die at Sacae. Pretty much the same consequences as Shining Force when you don't train Max.

  As we know from Eliwood and Ninian's paired ending, Ninian will die in the 20 years between FE 7 and FE 6. But how many exactly? Considering that Roy is 15 during FE 6 and he had to be breast feeded by Rebecca likely due to Ninian's abscense. Sadly we come to the conclusion that Eliwood did not get to be with the love of his life for more than 7 years at best

  I'm probably in the minority but this is my favorite 3H chapter 😅 The difficulty spike is ridiculous, though, and you can unfortunately get soft locked if you aren't properly prepared. But I've learned that even on maddening, if your Byleth, Dimitri, and Claude have about 30 speed, they can avoid doubles from like 95% of the enemies in this chapter.

  This was basically Intelligent system's way of forcing you to buy the dlc. I honestly don't see a logical way of completing this map on maddening without the Chalice of Beginnings at least on the Blue Lion route.

  No need for dlc. It just need preparation in chapter 12. Basically you prepare for 2 chapters in chapter 12. The set up for chapter 12 must be including the chapter 13 mindset. It is possible to do it heck even people can beat it with only noble/commoner class

  Well, I played this one enroute to Sacae. It was easy when use General Tanks and Max level stats every units , but no one dies. Xd.😆

  Back around 2011 I watched in absolute horror as a friend of mine traded her copy in to a local game store. It was already going for a decent amount on the aftermarket even then, and I warned her it was worth way more than she was gonna get from them. I even told her I'd buy it off her myself if she gave me a couple days to get the cash. They gave her fifteen bucks for it and had it on the shelf for $80 within a week. I scream internally every time I remember how much it's going for now.

  they couldn’t have just brought the same units you used at the end of the previous map? i just got to this part on verdant wind maddening. I just got back to picking up the game again after a few years and forgot this takes your actually class, not the units you use. My Ignatz and Leonie are like level 12 what do i do D:

  NGL, I just made it to CH4 on a new playthrough and the first Celica chapter just made me shut off the game. I might be completely done with it this time. BTW, you forgot the part on Alm's route where you let half of his army die because they're completely useless.

  The worst map in the series in context of how it is handled in my opinion, having a risk of soft-locking (or forcing to lower the difficulty) in a game in 2019 is wild. In a vacuum, heh, shit's ok I guess

  Alm’s route is definitely more fun but I only get irritated on Celica’s route when we reach poison swamp territory. Even then, it’s tactical and definitely feels like I’m in earning every inch. Then Jedah shows up, DAMN IT ALL! I’ve yet to figure out how to kill this man for a second dracoshield. The game isn’t explicit if it means every 4 attacks you get one, or if every 4 attacks you can wail freely till the start of next turn. I don’t have enough units to attack him out of range safely, and no-one I have is strong enough to kill him in one hit or survive the retaliation. Like, I COULD just pitchfork Valbar into an archer but that feels dishonest.

  Yeah, this is kind of a mood. I'd seen someone else play through the game before, but my first run was Blue Lions, Maddening, Classic. I knew this was coming, I genuinely feared it. There was a very real chance I soft locked here. I did what I could to see if I could get everyone through it. I couldn't. I settled for letting Ashe and Gilbert bite it, which was begrudgingly acceptable as they were far too underleveled to be of use.

  One of my friends said that he actually liked one of the maps, that had all those archers. Reason being was because it made sense realistically. A fortress with dozens of archers firing dozens of arrows is a sound defense tatic. Unfortunately for them, I had Genny who spawns foot soliders and somehow had insane dodge. Cantors can go sleep in their own poison swamps.

  It's absolutely hilarious that I was able to one trun warp skip the previous chapter which had the entire empire storming the monastery. But in this chapter fighting a bunch of random bandits made me reset multiple times. I had to restart from the previous chapter to make battle preparations for this one.

  Going from FE7 to FE6 is so jarring because almost everyone is dead or MIA due to not being created at time, most of their kids/relatvies don't know each other, the few survivors are old(er) men now and the war is treated dead serious so you don't get those downtime filler chapters like when its just the lord trio dealing with no name black fang villains and grinding supports
