No the Uke is not being hurt . Yes a smaller guy can use it on a bigger guy this is actually much better smaller vs bigger ,it is one of my "big guy throws " . Arkadi is an excellent instructor and has produced many VERY GOOD players , What you have to understand is that not all the throws you see on youtube are always the favorite techniques of the instructor showing them . matěj Med Young for it too. I've met(and been taught by, at a training camp) one red and white belt: Jan de Jong, 9th dan Ju Jutsu. He was 77 when I met him, died 5 years later.
