    I'm so happy to have found these types of series because one of my biggest struggles with yoga as someone that is a bit bigger is that in certain positions my belly get's in the way and that especially with things like planking the weight around my butt and hips makes it so hard to maintain the position without hurting my back. I actually am already really flexible in a lot of ways and I also used to do some yoga back when I was slimmer but a lot of it was much easier then purely because I was lighter and my belly and butt didn't get in the way so much.

    So excited for this series! I really struggle with moving from a downward dog to a forward fold. Or a downward dog and bringing my knee to nose. Or a own ward dog to a lunge. Basically anything like that my belly and boobs are too large for me to do the move. And I don’t know how to get to that next position before the class has already moved on. Which is frustrating.

    Hi Zelinda, I have a mid-to-upper back (spine) injury that makes it difficult to do laying down flat on the floor poses. Towels under the back and under the neck do not help alleviate this pain when doing these poses and can actually make it worse, especially if the towel is lined up with the spine. Is there any modification for these or would it be wise to skip these activities?

    Hi Melissa, if lying on a bed is comfortable, that can be an option. Some postures (not all) can be adapted to lying on a yoga "recliner" (a bolster with the head end propped up with a block).
