everyone forgets that Yoel has fused vertebrae in his neck. He cannot turn his head and this is probably the reason he avoids wrestling too. So it's incredible he survived that full force kick to back of head/neck area.
@auxzilla5495

On the contrary, its actually probably why he CAN take ridiculous damage that would normally flatline others. His neck is fused so its practically like a head on an iron rod as opposed to having that bobblehead effect when someone gets hit in the head.

New subscriber very nice ❤
Romero is a freaking beast, no doubt about it. He'll of a fighters!!
1:06 probably the most badass moment of brunson's career. picking up romero like a baby and slamming him to the floor
Although this is a completely different sport than wrestling, it’s still very impressive that Brunson was able ti secure a significant amount of takedowns on an Olympian like Joel Romero.
A hell of a fight....wow...well done
Brunson actually looked like he rolled over dead at the end.
Blocks the head kick with head...
Romero always fights the most badass opponents. So a lot of Romero's fights end up being anime level cool shit.
I love Romero 😂😂 he's a beast and he's never taking himself too seriously
still can't believe they let him go
Can’t believe they let him go
That finish 100% ruptured his liver
Romero is built different he throws his left like an anchor ⚓
One of the best and most action packed fight I've ever watched in the UFC. Very 💥explosive. Respect to both fighters.
everyone forgets that Yoel has fused vertebrae in his neck. He cannot turn his head and this is probably the reason he avoids wrestling too. So it's incredible he survived that full force kick to back of head/neck area.

On the contrary, its actually probably why he CAN take ridiculous damage that would normally flatline others. His neck is fused so its practically like a head on an iron rod as opposed to having that bobblehead effect when someone gets hit in the head.
4:05 you see a glimpse of Yoel's humanity he coulda have gone for head shots but he didn't want to severely hurt Brunson. Kinda a good moment

Yeah he didn’t want to hit him in the face so he decided to smash his organs what a good moment 👍🏼

nah Brunson was guarding head so he went for liver before time was up. broke it like cane sugar
By far one of my favourite Fighters of all time
How can someone not be a fan of Brunson? He's such a man's man fighter, one of the hardest fighters in the UFC, he always gives it his all 💯

I think brunson could beat anyone that night except for yoel
Wow man never got to watch this fight. Derek Brunson is such a powerhouse man. Have gotten a chance to fight on one of his cards, him and his whole team are 👍🏽👍🏽
Ref shouting "Fight back," while Brunson was already in the afterlife.
His Olympic heart shined in this fight. Brunson was a beast too.
Yoel Romero is a freaking monster made of concrete 6 knees and kick straight to the Dome doesn't even stagger him now that's a scary man

Watch Barry season 2 ep5... Yoel is a total Ronny.
Romero is a tough and skilled fighter for sure, the heel hook standing threw off his opponent pretty good. The calf trap takedown was great too...
Que gran pelea, y que paliza de Joel
Pure athleticism 🇨🇺
