I don't know, yeah he did more damage, and got the only take down.... But.. yo with those kicks.. he scored a lot of points with those kicks, even though they didn't do a lot of damage. He through a lot more strikes, and landed a lot more strikes in every round..

Well Romero is twice his size bruv.. obviously he has to create distance between himself and romero and plus.. he’s taller so it wouldn’t make sense to rush in just to get ankle picked and then have his face bashed in. Izzy is unbelievable, with the scrawny stature he's absolutely amazing, the way he breaks you down and how he's able to defend against takedowns here.. Romero was right to be cautious and depend mostly on counters, would have lost if he came all out.

This was such a disappointing fight. These two are absolute beasts and as such they gave each other a little too much respect. They were afraid to commit to anything, and mostly walked around and looked at each other the whole damn match.
