YETI Presents: Chasing Light
Спорт
Wildlife photographer Wyman Meinzer is, more than anything else, a Texan. After years as a hunter, trapper & marksman, this outdoor pioneer traded in his rifle to stare down the barrel of a zoom lens.

In this YETI Presents video, wildlife photographer Wyman Meinzer shares stories of his passion for the outdoors from his time as an avid outdoorsman in the Texas Badlands. Laying down his rifle in favor of a digital camera, he is now the official photographer for the Lone Star State and a Texas wildlife conservationist. Wyman captures the dig-your-heels-in determination and appreciation for the land that can only be found in those that call Texas home.

Hey guys, if you can pull it off, go for it. I started as a very young man and at a time when this could particular lifestyle was possible. Just grabbed the chance and ran with it.
Imo, this is the best Yeti Presents film

I cannot express the amount of times I have watched this episode. So inspiring and just all-around incredible videography! Kudos to the creatives who brought this vision to life!
Phenomenal photographer
One man changing the environment all by himself.
Videos of this quality right here are why I don't hesitate to purchase Yeti products. Excellent mini documentary. As a photographer this is my favorite video of yours and is really inspiring. I've watched it multiple times. Keep doing what you're doing Yeti!
this has got to be the best video you guys have yet to post! keep on doing great stuff.
Legend.
I really enjoy the videos that Yeti has presented/ produced but, this is my absolute favorite one.
I was a Range & Wildlife classmate of Wyman's in the '70's, and one of my biggest regrets is not ever getting to know him, or even speak to him (that I remember). Much respect. Guns up!

When one spends a virtual lifetime hunting, it is refreshing to watch an animal through a lens instead of in the crosshairs of a scope all the time.

Broken Cowboy by Jesse Woods
Does anyone know where in Texas this is? My wife is from Dallas and when we back to see her family I always talk about going hiking and camping there. I want to take her brother in law to Bend National Park and get him out of the city. and people say its to far away from Dallas but I don't really care, we could fly if need be. I too love the open land.

Big Bend is one of the most remote US National Parks, located in Southwest Texas, on the US/Mexico Border. It is also one of the least visited and my personal favorite. Be warned, the Summers are brutal out there and there is very little civilization around (which is why it is so appealing). The closest commercial airports are in Midland/Odessa (3-hour drive) and El Paso (4-hour drive)

Amazing legacy, but built on death and exploitation of the coyote., now realizing and photographing them, but so much blood on his hands.....
