I felt bad for Rey Mysterio. WWE wouldn't even let Rey take the WWE title home to show it to his family. But WWE just had to make John take it from him.

Even though I like Cena but that’s a shame he took Rey mysterio title run for a day he deserved a better reign

WWE in 2011 is probably my favorite year in wrestling. Zack Ryder got organically over from his KZread Channel and won the US title, Randy Orton and Christian feud through the summer, Mark Henry’s Hall of Pain eventually winning the World Heavyweight Championship and last and certainly not least CM Punk becoming a megastar with the legendary pipebomb and John Cena rivalry 🐐

cm punks rise started in 2012 coz summer of punk angle 2011 was worse by wwe and as for the rock he was there just to set up wm 28 match so 2011 wasnt that great however 2012 was coz cm punks rise and heel turn, rock vs cena, hhh vs brock and hhh vs taker end of an era, brock vs cena, chris jericho vs cm punk, shield debut

Been ready for this year review from the start of the series my favourite year from WWE as a kid

I am biased because I remember watching during this year as a kid but objectively, 2011 was one of if not THE best year in WWE in the 2010’s in terms of creative & innovative storylines that tried new things. I mean you had the end of Nexus, end of gameshow NXT, 40 man royal rumble, Kharma’s debut and her short but legendary run, Zack Ryder being a fan favorite, Edge being WHC and surprise retirement, Christian & Randy Orton feud, Dolph Ziggler being WHC and his storylines with Vickie and AJ, Miz being WWE champ, Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole’s fued, the anonymous Raw GM, R-Truth’s short lived but extremely memorable main event run, the Rock returning & feud with John Cena, the pipebomb & Punk’s run + leaving with the WWE championship and having 2 WWE champions at the same time, Vince being kayfabe demoted & Triple H becoming COO, Kevin Nash return, Daniel Bryan coming up, end of the brand split, Mark Henry House of Pain, Awesome Truth’s first run, the list goes on and on. Sure a lot of cringey and questionable choices were made, but damn this year had so many unique moments!

We're so close to the 2012 video-one of my favourite years for wrestling.

2011 Was The Year Of Cm Punk

The one and only WrestleMania I ever attended was 27. Yes the show sucked but not completely and the weekend including Axxess was a lot of fun. 2011 was not a good year at all looking back. CM Punk gave me hope but it didn't last super long. The last really enjoyable WWE year for me was 2007 so it's been a while.

Come on make the 2012 already I want to see what happened that year please continue with the series I love it

Really was. Even after Punk's pipe bomb WWE struggled to be real good. A lot of stuff was predictable, we went from the laptop of death as GM to Johnny Ace as GM of Raw, even Teddy Long as GM of Smackdown was getting stale. Edge had to "retire," Mania 27 was meh. Only things good about the year was Punk's pipe bomb and Joker Sting. Both of which took place in summer, incidentally.

The WWE in 2011 was more good than bad in my opinion. Pros: mark henry won the WHC The rock returned Christian vs Orton was a good feud Cm punk vs John cena at MITB was match of the year Zack Ryder got over in despite of the company The cons: Wrestlemania 27, edge retired, triple h beat cm punk at NOC, Rey mysterio being wwe champion for less than a few hrs.

In my honest opinion, I felt like the bad outweigh the good for WWE 2011… THE BAD: - Michael Cole’s insufferable heel commentary and his creepy erection for The Miz - The Miz as WWE Champion and also main eventing WrestleMania - WrestleMania 27 was utterly terrible - The annoying anonymous RAW General manager - The burial of Zack Ryder - Ruining the summer of punk - Ruining Christian’s long overdue World title run which still infuriates me to this day THE GOOD: - The year of CM Punk - The slow rise of Daniel Bryan - Disfigured/Undashing Cody Rhodes

I sort of count heel Micheal Cole and the anonymous RAW GM happened in 2010. Still I agree both were unfavorable. Just like I count Zack Ryder’s burial began in 2012. It proves that reaching the brass ring don’t mean nothing compared to who’s in charge, or who use to be.

While I love these videos, I think you need to look into your scripts a little better.. In one of your videos, you called Dolph Ziggler “Show Stopper” instead of “Show Off”, and in this video, at 15:32 you called Mark Henry's Hall of Pain, the “House” of Pain

2011 it was pretty tough year it got really bad things bad booking and we even got Michael Cole having more spotlight then anyone but fortunately they was one guy that saved this year in WWE and is name is…CM Punk !

What about The Rock ?

In 2011, young talent Cody Rhodes was the Intercontinental champion. Had wins against Rey Mysterio and Booker T. In 2024, he's WWE Champion and face of the company. Sounds like they booked a linear rise for the up and comer.

Done the other decades... couldn't wait for this one and the rest of this decade 🤗

This video alone was hard to watch. Imagine the fans who had to hold out the entire YEAR with this crap? Thank God V*ince is gone for good. The entire decade of the 2010s showed how disconnected he was with the fans, and how he prioritized his own entertainment over theirs CM Punk was one of a handful of greatness from this year

Can you do backstory videos for major wrestling stables like the Bullet Club, NWO and Suzuki Gun. I think with the level of audience you have you can really tell people backstories and histories of many wrestling tag teams and stables. Recently the gorillas of Destiny debuted in WWE at backlash 2024 most people on Twitter were confused, as not all of them have seen their previous work. I think your channel can really benefit with this type of content and introducing factions groups and stables to newer audience.

2011 was the best year of the 2010s decade you had smartphones and social media rising in popularity but a good number of people still had keyboard phones and got on the family computer and still had digital cameras Cartoon Network was kinda good again you had the beginning of cena vs rock and the summer of punk etc
