SHORT CAREERS | Wrestling Runs Cut Short!
Not every wrestler can be as fortunate as Terry Funk; and have a career that spans six decades. No, sometimes when a performer comes along, they’re for one reason or another, only destined to be a wrestler for a short period of time. Of course, the reasons for this can vary from person to person but the end result is always the same, and that means having a short run in the buisness. But who are the biggest examples of short careers in wrestling history? Well, that’s exactly what we’re going to be looking at today.

Sean O'Haire could have been pushed to the moon, but McMahon and his team really tends to avoid wrestlers with a known drug problem especially after Eddie’s death. In their line of work, the stress involved (especially during early 2000’s and 2010’s), any PED use a wrestler will be pressured into taking and probably a mountain of other personal issues, they know wrestlers like these predictably tend to have a very limited shelf life on this earth.

It's honestly sad that her lone post-wwe ppv match was so underwhelming. In the mixed tag where she teamed with Kurt Angle against the Jarrett's, Jeff and Karen, it was clear that the ring rust was nowhere near knocked off when she locked up. Sable sucked and I will never understand why Vince tried to push her ro the moon the way he did. We all know why Chyna's career was cut shortin WWE

Greatly overrated. She was a limited wrestler when they had better female wrestlers in the roster they limited to manage roles including luna and Jacqueline

We will never get to see Sean O'Haire's return, as he sadly passed away in 2014 at the age of only 43.

Funny sable gets so much flack for asking for more money when she was the biggest female start at the time. Now that we’re older we see her matches were amazing but for the time they were good. If she was treated the way “the boys” treated her in the back today the same fans that complain about her would want those same guys suspended or fired. She was one of the first to say Vince was inappropriate and she was dismissed while someone he had an apparent consensual affair with its believe without a question.

Revisionist history has been extremely kind to AJ. Was an extremely average wrestler at best and would be shown up by any wrestler working today.

How do you leave David Von Erich off this list? According to Flair and Harley Race this kid was already on track to be the NWA world heavyweight champion. By on track, I mean all the promoters of all the territories were on board with putting the belt on him not long after he passed in Japan.
