Thanks Ronaldo, yea it’s just a little time consuming but a MUST and knowing what needs to be removed and what needs to go where.. Bike runs absolutely flawless with this setup. So fast 💨 But better yet no bog and instant throttle response 🙏✔️💯

Technically the only pure sport quads out there, at least from the standpoint of what's got a current model, fully supported by the mfg and presently in production.

My 2022 SE black and white will be here early July I’m so excited! I never owned anything brand new before except a lawnmower and a bicycle😂 Im just going back and fourth with red,blue or gold accents I definitely like the red on your quad💯

@@smokydagoat1244 absolutely a must in the north east! Check out my other video of the ricochet and GYTR skid install.. You just gatta decide if you want the poly material or metal. I opted for the full metal jacket haha

Run good cycle full synthetic 10w40 oil after break in !

Needs a 2009 yfz450r clutch convert or basket going to explode and leave you stranded.

Just as a heads up, that fuel plug splits apart. The blue portion goes into the fuel line and the remaining black piece caps the tip on the tank itself.

I really want to get a fci intake for mine.run stock filter right now. You should get them warning labels removed and get the plates I ordered some on eBay it makes it look a lot better. I Also got the tail light delete

Yea the FCI wakes this thing up paired with the full exhaust and vortex tuner.. it’s much faster now! And I’ll look into those plates

Will the same apply to a 2023 SE?

Very nice and detailed video. I just picked up a 2022, exact same color. I looked everywhere, but I can’t find a seller that says the Vortex works for the 2022. That’s a lot of work for the intake install haha!!

Awesome, congrats man! Always get compliments on this colorway YFZ! As far as what will work and what won’t, this will be the same as the 2021. I ordered my vortex off of RACINGPOWERSPORTS.COM and it will definitely work for you as well 👌 Most sites just haven’t updated the website or are back ordered anyway because it’s that time of the year.

Do you know what the ID and OD of the new breather hoses are?

Such an awesome instructional video sir! Great lighting and video angles to see what you’re working on! Music was a little loud at times. The fci intake, did you need to adjust the throttle body angle to get the intake tube and seal to fully seat? I’m ordering the exact same products! My OEM throttle body is angled to the left side of the bike making the angle steep for aftermarket intakes. If you had this issue, how did you overcome this issue?

Hello! Also, did your coolant hose closest to the header need adjustment? I thought mine had enough clearance, but it touched while startup and warmup and melted on the header. Luckily I stopped the engine and put a fan on it to keep it from total failure. Oh well, now need new silicone blue hoses. Lol

Did the exhaust come with spark arrestor or quiet core?

Yea I love the color way! The breather box doesn’t hold any extra oil it just captures it an immediately sends it back into the engine instead of the air box which is what a stock setup will do. Must have!

I run MAP 9: 5,6,6 for low medium high in that order.. It runs like a dream on these settings for me ✔️

AND TRUST ME DO THE NON SLIPPER BASKET OR U RISK DAMAGING THE ENGINE CASE WHEN IT BLOWS. 09R basket + 09r thrust washer + 09r clutch components and a decent vortex tune and ur good to go. I RECOMMEND THE PRO X clutch fibers and steels. THEY GRAB AND GRAB HARD NO SLIPPAGE.

Hi man , great video .. I was wondering if you could help me with the right vortex settings .. ? I have the 2021 yfz ( yoshi pipe , fci intake , ais delete , hot rot crank shaft , Athena stock bore cilinder and the cp piston 12:5:1 and the stage 2 hotcams.. ) I ran map 8 with 555 but it blew my crankshaft bearing .. I guess I ran it on a to powerful map ... so im curious what you suggest. or meaby have an idea were I can get this information.. thank you

Hey man very similar setup! I didn’t mess with the shaft or cams, just did the BIG3/AIS DELETE/ & the 38 MOTORSPORTS BREATHER BOX. I have ran mine with no issues and no backfire etc. on Map 9; 5 low, 6 med, 6 hi. It has ran flawlessly. If you need a direction to go and more information I 100% recommend going to YFZ CENTRAL off google and getting answers there. You’ll have hundreds of ppl with useful solutions to help you out. There is a ton of variables, like where you live (elevation), gas etc. Best advice I can give you is to ask YFZ CENTRAL, join the community and they can help dial you in brother 👍

The YOSHI RS2 comes like that but I did rub it down with some alcohol wipes before firing it up so it doesn’t leave any grease/discoloration stuck on it! Love this exhaust system ☝️

You change the clutch basket or are you not cause I heard it’s a ticking time bomb 😅 I don’t have one but people are saying to get one

So I have a 22 also same exact mods except a dasa shorty. I’ve messed with my vortex on all the maps but leave it on map 9 now. No matter the map of I am using super light throttle like say going on a slight downhill on the road the quad pops and sputters? If I’m going through the gears or ripping on it it runs perfect. Does your happen to have this weird quirk?

Yep I know what you are talking about exactly! This is why you need to delete the AIS. If you don’t you will have backfires on decel. Once you do that at the same time I would get the 38 MOTORSPORTS breather box as well, you’ll thank me later 🤘

I already deleted the ais and put a 38 motorsports breather on. I literally did everything you did other than I have a dasa shorty. And it still does this popping when really light on the throttle.

Got you. You can find a common thread or post up what’s going on with the back fire on YFZ Central. You are not the only one with that issue but I know I haven’t ran into that at all with everything that I installed she runs mint!

TBH man you can probably get away with just your aftermarket intake/exhaust..However, you will thank yourself later if you get a Vortex as well. It literally has every programmable setting under the sun and you’ll find the bike runs better with it ten-fold.. that’s why it’s so expensive.

What exactly does the AIS delete do to the atv

So basically from factory all these bikes have California emissions set in place which are built into them. This in turn, prevents the ATV running how it should. From factory you will experience noticeable bog and also stalling at low revs specially going into corners or turns. If you remove the AIS, you will notice 1000% difference in how good your quad runs!

I wasn’t getting a rossier or dasa where I ride.. And theres alot of tracks that have decibel tests..My setup is multiple decibels lower than those apples to apples.. And mine you can still here from a mile away with the setup I have
