Very nicely done and the end results look great. If you get more into using the cutting blade and vinyl, you should obtain what is called Transfer Paper. It is a clear tape like substance. you peel the backing off the tape and and apply the tape onto your vinyl object. In this case, your pumpkin design. You then peel the transfer tape and the pumpkin comes off. You then apply the tape where you want. Lastly, you rub the tape and the pumpkin sticks the the surface and when you peel the tape off, the pumpkin remains. Although in the case of your pumpkin, you could simply peel the pumpkin and place it on the material directly, if you work with lots of letters or intricate designs, you would have to peel each letter or intricate piece and then stick them piece by piece onto the surface. Lining things up will be tough so the transfer paper allows you to peel off letters exactly as they are printed and transfer them onto the material. (sorry for the long explanation) 🙂

Thank you so much for your kind words and the information on transfer paper! We (Monkey Woodworks) use it a lot when working with vinyl. I was just trying to keep this video short and to the point of how to cut a sticker. The next vinyl video will definitely have some transfer paper in it and show the application. Thanks again!

What’s up with the outline feature for laser cutting ? It now only outlines the outside of an image and not the other parts such as the middle of a O or A

I believe it is a XCS version issue. Have you tried their latest version?
