Thanks you! It felt a bit rushed, but there is a lot to go over. Do you have a Vision or in the market for an engraver?

@@MonkeyWoodworks It didn't seem rushed to me. This was the most through review I watched thus far. I wasn't aware of things you mentioned (i.e. blind spots of the camera, issue with rotary tool, awkwardness of reaching inside when at the full height, no trace etc.) I have the M1-10W with the air purifier for about 2 years. Lately, haven't used much because there was a time when the filters were always sold out and expensive. Since I use in my home and can't vent out a window, trying to preserve filters as long as I could. The filters do OK but get filled quickly because I run pretty high to keep the smoke contained. I wanted to cut acrylic but heard there's limitations so haven't tried yet to see what colors will be successful. I know some get good results. Just seems like you're going in fighting a losing battle. I'll probably start using it but will see about setting it up outside on a nice day. I'm aware they have several machines now that can do acrylic but price too steep for my pockets at the moment.

DON”T DO IT! Support is horrible. If a an issue arises and shared by email support, they end up blaming you for the issue or will not acknowledge the problem. I will be making a product review (paid from my own pocket) and it will not be positive.

Thank you for your feedback and sorry to hear you had so much trouble! I am a member of their FB groups and I have seen MANY issues around firmware updates and support issues (or lack of).

@@MonkeyWoodworksCorrect, there are many issues with private, paid WeCreat owners versus sponsored users not sharing the full scope of things. From day one with my first unit, I reported a damaged power cord; the connection was too loose, and any movement would disconnect the cord from the laser. The feedback from support was that it was my fault, reasoning that I had moved the laser around too much. I only moved the laser twice: once from unpacking and a second time to its main location. Still, they blamed me for damaging the cord. I was also blamed for the focus point not being accurate on a second unit, even after calibration. I was told the camera is accurate and that I need to learn how to use the laser. I was also told to tilt the laser when removing and inserting the crumb tray and to tie a string on the handle. These are just a few examples of the many problems I encountered with two of the WeCreat units. I kept all correspondence and will use it during my review of WeCreat. I can say unequivocally that WeCreat refuses to take ownership of any realistic issues caused by faulty workmanship and design flaws. Even on WeCreat live streams, during the Q&A sessions towards the end, many issues brought to their attention were ignored or they pointed the finger at the end user. Sadly, WeCreat has a product that could have succeeded in this saturated laser market, but they continue to rush products out the door before fixing existing issues and then turn around to blame the end user for the problems. I am carefully working on my WeCreat review and making sure the t’s are crossed and i’s are dotted. I don’t believe folks really know the other side of WeCreat, only receiving limited info from paid sponsors. I hope to shed some light on this. My intention for the review is to make it clear to the buyer what they may face when things do go wrong. And the hopes WeCreat will take into account how they are treating their customers after the sale and make changes to better serve by overhauling the support department. Until then, I will continue to say, don’t purchase a WeCreat laser.😎
