Hey, classic mode is just for navigation purposes. It deactivates all other Nexus features. Which game are you playing and have you watched my Nexus Advanced Anti Recoil video already?

@@XIMCentral rainbow six, i have watched all of the videos u have available for nexus but when i use the configs it seems as tho it makes it worse and i don’t understand why, do i need to swap from classic? also is there a way to swap from classic and disable motion aim and gyro to use it like classic but just with my smart actions? because when i swap from classic my right stick doesn’t let me move around. i appreciate the time and response tho man, means a lot

@@xfsn Hey, what does it make worse? You can configure the classic mode in your global settings, and even deactivate it there if you want your Nexus to start in the "full feature" mode right from the start. As for the config, make sure you use the correct ingame settings from the XIM website. Any adjustments will then be done within your XIM config. Also go into the global settings and do the two calibrations there. First the top one, then the bottom one. This is needed so that your Nexus is perfectly calibrated.

@@XIMCentral it makes the recoil somewhat worse, when i use regular settings the recoil seems better than when i use these configs, but thank u so much for ur time and response once again i appreciate it so much sincerely im going to calibrate it right now retry my settings and such.

No other device will be able to do this as well as nexus , not even the new xim apex adapter , it's because the giro aiming is a completely separate aiming mechanic , this is actually amazing. I had a Cronus and the massive downside was trying to do your own corrections from it's anti recol this. In short the nexus will probably always have an advantage with scripts like this over a new apex or similar device.

@@martinhutchins898 Hey, please press and hold the + and - button on your Nexus for several seconds while the manager is searching for it. Since you updated both, you must redo this pairing process.

I'm not a wz player but I was testing it there and it's really much more complex than r6, the weapons have different forces on recoil and also move from left to right and vice versa, with various configurations and applying cooldown between them I was able to do a decent job with various weapons, looking forward to your next video

I play on console, with the maximum sensitivity and that is my class that I use with the stg meta configuration, there are other extra configurations that can be used to apply to some buttons, just look at the Nexus manager in the button assignment part and you'll see.

@@johnmagpantay8052 Just dont use an infinite wait action but pick a duration that covers the recoil of the first few bullets. Then use a new magnitude and angle for the next few bullets with a matching wait action. Thats how you compensate recoil which changes its direction or intensity.

Having owned the Xim Apex for a few years now, I believe it's time for me to upgrade to the Xim Nexus! I'm hoping that this will be far more precise when it comes to aiming for ADS and Hip fire than the Xim Apex.

Hey Od1n, its great to see that XIM is going at least the way that other unnamed adapters do for along time. I‘m happy and looking forward to use smart actions with the new XIM device in future. As you know, I use a unnamed device along time and have a good and close connection to some ppl who are creators or CEO. The Problem that you show with anti recoil when you move the direction stick or mouse its not 100% true. Newer and common games like CoD or BF2042 have a XIM Fix, this solves the Problem that you show. RB6 has not the fix, but could be included if someone would ask the creator of this script. Anyway, Its better to use 1 adapter for all these features as to connect 2 different devices to get all features.

Hey, unlike game packs or scripts the idea of Smart Actions is to keep it simple and easy. So even a beginner can set them up without having to read documentation. Also Smart Actions are meant to cover the most popular features in the scripting/game pack regard, but there will still be niche cases where a Titan can make sense to be used on top. Specifically for the Titan the Smart Actions are not meant to make the Titan useless. For other script/macro adapters this can be different of course, you may no longer need them.

@@delixar5596 You must update both, the controller firmware and manager app. The controller can only be updated via a PC or Mac. And the app must be download from the XIM Forum (link in the description). You cannot use the app from the iOS/Google App Store, that one is older and doesnt have these features. This is what you have done, correct?

@@XIMCentral That's what I did, I updated my Xim Nexus to the latest firmware that is posted on the Forum as well as downloaded the latest Manager from the Forum. But whenever I try to Connect my Nexus to the Manager, It tells me that there was a problem connecting it but when I use the Manager from the App Store it works just as fine

@@JoelNoLove There are instructions right next to the download links on that website. You must install both, the controller firmware via a PC or Mac, and the manager by deleting your current manager and downloading the one from the XIM Forum.

All modern CoDs use the same recoil mechanics, and MW3 once again seems to use the same one from the looks of it! :)

Matrix and Nexus share the same smart action manager so you can just follow and copy the setup of my Nexus smart action videos and use them with Matrix as well! :)

I am in the nexus manager app but for someone reason on the mappings page it doesn’t show the plus symbol at the bottom of the screen for me and I’m on iPhone

Hey, please increase the aim magnitude to a much higher value. Does that remove the recoil?

None of these setting appear for me. Even in advanced config. Like these magnitude things or the delay or switching to ADS only.

Hey, you must update your firmware to the new beta one. Specifically the controller firmware, adapter firmware and manager. All 3 must be updated, then you will have those new features. Download links should be in the video description.

When I go to the edit configuration screen, I don’t see the + sign at the bottom of the button list. I’ve also updated my controller, the converter, and the manager tool

I assume a new profile would have to be created for different operators used in siege since they have different recoils? If you used these settings for the operator Thorn for example, the aim would not be accurate like it is with Maverick.

@@titusneacsu2434 You can change profiles by adding hotkeys to it. Say F1 = operator 1, F2 = operator 2. You must enter the nav mode and then you can press F1 or F2 to switch. Then you leave the nav mode again.

Its now in the top left corner of the smart action manager where it says "active". Click on that and you can pick "ADS only".

So the set up that you have in that video if I were to use the same weapon because I’m on our six also, it should react the same as what your video shows? Because the weapon that I was using was on thermite the operator.

Hey, a lot of operators on Siege have different recoil. So the anti recoil setup of Maverik might not work for a different operator. Jäger, Osa and Tatcher share the same recoil pattern for example, but its different to say Twitch. In such a case you will have to manually adjust the anti recoil until its perfect.

Yes my two Siege anti recoil videos still work, and you can use the same values for Nexus too if you use the same ingame settings.

is it impossible to get perfect anti recoil set up for MW2? i've been following these steps but the gun still has recoil. is it cause of the game? i heard it has gun sway and randomisation recoil which makes it near impossible to make perfect anti recoil set up without cheating.

In CoD the recoil changes based on how high or low you are aiming. If you aim above you the recoil is different to when you aim directly infront of you. Also the aim assist (when active) changes the recoil pattern too. So yes its quite a challenge to get right in CoD. Id rather use it as an additrional recoil perk and say remove 80% of the weapon recoil via smart actions and handle the remaining 20% by myself.

I dont see the plus on mappings, my xim controller and adapter are both updated

@@charlesaraujo8386 Hey, by default the gyro will pick up YAW inputs as left/right aim movements. You said you would prefer left/right aim movements to happen with ROLL inputs instead though. This behavior can be changed with the XIM Nexus Tilt Align feature. You can find this feature in the Global Settings - Calibration - Swipe 6 times to the right.

This affects only specific weapons though, right? There's no way to compensate for all weapons since their patterns are different, no?

It depends on the weapon. If the recoil follows a pattern (even a complex one) then you can remove it. If its randomized recoil however then you cannot. A lot of games use pattern recoil, or at least the vertical recoil is fixed while the horizontal recoil is randomized. These you can remove.

Great video! One question. Is there a way to increase the aim magnitude? For instance with Apex Legends, I set the aim magnitude like you suggest however even a value of 0.01 still does not pull the aim down enough to a suitable level. Is the game canceling it? Or is it possible to stack a few aim magnitudes to increase downward pull? Thank you for your help!

Hey, have you specified an angle as well? Otherwise the smart action will not know into which direction it must move down your aim. Also it sounds like the drag down is not sufficient yet, can you try increasing the magnitude to a higher value and see if that solves the issue?

If those weapons use different recoil patterns then yes, you would need to set it up for each weapon individually. Luckily game developers are a bit lazy in that regard and often re-use weapon patterns across different weapons!

I'm not sure if this is an issue anyone else is having, but I just figured it wasn't a perfect anti recoil function. Anyways, when I get the recoil correct on a weapon in siege, and i go to fix the swing from left to right of a weapon, like for example Ying's LMG goes up and to the left, I go to put in the config, and then it swings to the right very slightly. It can be at 0.01 and it'll still swing to the right, but when I turn it back down to 0.00, it goes back to swinging to the left. I don't know if I'm just not using the config properly or if it's just siege or the controller.

Hey, thats the controller stick resolution. There is no sensitivity point in-between 0 and 0,01. So one or the other might be too much, or not enough. In such a case slightly change the vertical percentage as that will change the total vector, which then might hit a better controller stick resolution point. Alternatively change the weapon attachment. This is a limitation of console games, the XIM cannot do much about this. Another alternative would be to lower the ingame sensitivity to tighten the stick resolution in terms of sensitivity points.

@@brokentoze24 I assume you split your recoil into a vertical and horizontal part. What really really helps in this situation is to either increase, or lower the vertical magnitude a bit and then check if you can each new resolution spots by changing the vertical sensitivity again. This may sound strange but its how analog sticks work in lots of games. A vertical percentage of 2,8% and horizontal one of 0,05% can result in the same overall direction as 2,7% and 0,15%. It all comes down to if the resulting vector from the two magnitudes hits a resultion spot of the stick or not. This is why in some games there is no recoil change between 0,05% and 0,08%. There is just no resolution point on the stick between the two that would result in a new sensitivity. Also thanks for becoming a channel member! @@brokentoze24 All right will do that! :) Some more background if that helps: The stick resolution of the PSN controllers only contain 256 resolution spots. So you can place 256 individual registration points around the whole stick range. In-between these points the controller will not recognize any change. This is sadly what the XIM and the anti recoil percentage limits. On Xbox this is a different story, it has 65535 resolution spots instead of 256. This is why controllers (and the XIM) feel more precise on Xbox than on Playstation. Maybe the new DualSense Edge controller will change that!

@@acakm09 That may be the issue, its posbably a setup error within the config or the ingame settings being wrong. I recommend to only use the ingame settings from the XIM website and build your own config to avoid such issues.

I have a question before I sold my matrix I did a smart action for rust and it was updated so you see the arrow on where the anti recoil would pull down and it was easy to make a anti recoil but the nexus smart action doesn’t have that u csnt see the arrow when will that be added

Hey, that may be added in a few months when the XIM Dev team has capacities again. You can see the direction by looking at the degree value with Nexus. 0° is up, 90° is right, 180° is down, 270° is right. Matrix just visualized these degrees into an arrow.

Why is it that the second bullet goes slightly above the first and the rest of the mag will go on top of your first shot. It kind of fixates after first bullet is shot . How do i fix that because except the first bullet the recoil seems fine

I did it just like you but it just pulls down i dont understand why it is so drastically different than the ones you show on the other siege operator video none of the settings will work for me even if i have the same exact privacy settings and scale ect..🥲

@@alzh9620 Then you suffer from the Siege sensitivity bug due to using non-default advanced settings. You must set those back to default and then turn off advanced settings. After that restart the game. Based on the console the default settings may not be 0, so maybe just reset your ingame settings to have the advanced settings back on default. Also deactivate them once they are on default again.

I hope this also works with the new xim, or will smart actions be available for the Xim Apex?

The new XIM mouse and keyboard adapter will have Smart Actions. The hardware of XIM Apex is most likely too dated for that.

Can nOt get the smart action because the app is not up to date to use smart action

Hey, you must update both your controller firmware and the manager app. The manager app must be downloaded through the XIM Forum, you cannot use the version from the Google Playstore or iOS Store. Those offer the manager for the gold firmware which doesnt have Smart Actions yet.

for me it just won’t work i have everything updated and i even press save and everything but it doesn’t change 1 bit

Did you turn off the variance clock in the top right corner? And did you set your anti recoil to the same trigger press percentage as your fire action?

When I plug in my xim nexus it blinks pink 4 times and when I try to connect my xim to Xbox I don’t see it blink green 4 times and earlier my nexus controller connected but I couldn’t do anything on it but now it won’t connect at all. I need help.

Do you have a XIM Nexus? If so please press and hold the + and - button on your Nexus for several seconds, this is necessary to pair the Nexus to the manager.

These smart actions are really Hugh I wonder if there is the possibility to extend gyro functionality? Like having 2 inputs for horizontal aim and switch on the fly, so we could use tilt for example with a higher motion sensitivity for turning?

Hey, if i understood you correctly then you can do that with Smart Actions as well. However you can also realize this by using two dedicated Nexus configs. Select a config switch button in your button bindings and it will instantaneously switch into the config with the different motion settings. From there you select the same, or a different button to switch back into the original config. Close the XIM Nexus Manager so the switching is instantaneous, otherwise its slowed down or halted due to the Nexus expecting config switches or confirmations through the Nexus Manager :).

Hey, please press the button on the Nexus adapter until it starts blinking. Then turn around your Nexus controller and press the tiny button at the bottom. Nexus will now blink cyan. Let both find each other and pair now.

Hello again! I finally got the matrix and understand how the anti recoil works from this video! But one question what if the horizontal recoil was going to the left instead of right like how you showed on maverick his recoil was going to the right too much so u made it go to left how do u do the other way around?

It means the whole binding gets activated when you press the right trigger by at least 1% which equals a hair trigger.

i tried the same smart bindings what u did but i still have recoil on apex legend is not the same ?

You must adjust the magnitude percentage until the recoil is gone. Some weapons in Apex Legends also change the recoil intensity and direction, which you must also take into account.

Some games have different aim mechanics on the Xbox One and Xbox Series console. So the XIM offers different configs for each console then to provide the best mouse results.

If the weapon uses a different recoil pattern then yes.

Hey, that will not work as the Smart Actions can only be accessed by pressing the buttons on the Nexus. You cannot use them via a connected XIM Apex. However the upcoming new XIM mouse and keyboard adapter will also have Smart Actions! For more infos see the two videos i uploaded already! :)

Hey, you mean Maverick from RB6 as shown in this video? The video is quite old now so maybe Ubisoft has changed the recoil of Maverick. Also you must use the same weapon attachments as shown in the video or otherwise the recoil will be a lot different.

@@ukiyouu Hey, both must be updated, the XIM Firmware (via PC or Mac) and the XIM Manager. Both can be found under the link in the video description. If you are on Android download the APK from the link in the video description. And if you are on IOS use the Apple Testflight. The manaer in the App Store is older and therefore doesnt have these features yet. So an auto-update through the App Store is not possible. You must manually download the manager from the forum.

270° means it compensates the recoil to the left. 180° means it compensates the recoil downwards. So if a weapon kicks to the right, then you compensate it with 270°.

XIM Apex is probably not powerful enough to handle Smart Actions AND mouse translation at the same time :(. The recently teased new XIM mouse and keyboard adapter should be powerful enough for that though!

Hey, that means your weapon has two recoil stages. One in which it kicks up a lot, and then later one in which the recoil becomes less. So using one recoil setup for the whole magazine will not work, instead you must split it into several recoil compensations. In my most recent video upload you can learn how to do that! :)

@@jeffdull3613 Not all weapons share the same recoil. So it might be necessary to use a different setup for another operator. A lot of operators share the same recoil though. Jäger has the same recoil as Osa, Thatcher, Floris, Mira, ... so it really comes down to which operator you play, and to whom you switch.

Hey, please press and hold the + and - button on your Nexus controller for a few seconds so that it searches for a new manager. Also you must update both, the manager as well as the controller. The controller can only be updated via PC or Mac.

Hey, you are probably on the very latest beta firmware now, correct? In that case it has been moved to the top left. Click on the "Active" button and there you can switch to "ADS Only".

What does it mean when the Xim Matrix flashes purple. My Matrix Flashes purple for a split second then goes back to normal then flashes again. I tried doing nothing and waited it out if it will slill Blink purple but no, it still flashes purple every 3 seconds. There's nothing wrong with the Matrix everything works fine. Just curious to know what it meant

Hey, it means there is a timing issue with one of your devices. Such as that your mouse polls at a lower polling rate than the XIM for example.

@@XIMCentral I use a Controller (Gamepad) . It's probably just the connection device. Because I found a way to use Xim Matrix on PS5 (PS5 Games) without Besavior or Remote play. Ever since then it started blinking purple.

I've tested this myself and it works fine with the Matrix plugged in to the zen, no disconnection, Controller Headset works. It's just that the Xim Matrix will Flash Purple every second. Does this mean they're not Synching well together?

@@J.R.Smith. The Beloader U5 does the exact same as the Zen, its the same solution. However the Zen has a much higher delay than the Besavior U5. The U5 currently runs on 250Hz (4 milliseconds delay) whereas the Zen is 10 milliseconds. If headset support is important then thats a solution, but i would only use the Zen in passthrough mode as otherwise your aiming experience is downgraded to the Zen standard. Overall i think the U5 + USB soundcard is the better solution.
