Awesome video as usual. I What are your thoughts on jitter as an option for recoil in Apex? I think jitter may be a better general solution but I haven't been able to impliment it well. It seems to interfere with the ability to aim. It fights against your aim too much. Have you tried jitter? If so, were you able to get a good result?

@@XIMCentral not sure. I'm using my matrix on PC but since it's exploiting recoil smoothing I think it would probably work on console as well. I did get it working. I posted my smart action in matrix discussion on the xim settings discord. Basically, just created an ads only smart action for right trigger. When right trigger is held I did an aim angle for left followed by a wait, then an angle for right followed by a wait. I left variance on with it set to 10% in settings. This is so the left right motions are somewhat randomized to defeat macro detection cerebus may check for. Separately, I also added 180 degree angle with a very small amount of magnetude. Just barely anything. Together with the jitter smart action it takes away the recoil almost 100% from all weapons. I have my smart actions for recoil on mouse 5 because I don't want to use it for single fire weapon. It also has the added benefit of acting somewhat like scuff orbital aim assist. Not orbital obviously but it seems to have somewhat of the same effect on aim assist. If you try it, just use the global aim angle not right stick. When you do it on right stick it fights your tracking.

@@XIMCentral I am strugeling most with the groups and how to deal with them, yes I started to understand it more and more but it stil more complacated too much comparing with the supconfig :( In the apex I assigned "x" in supconfig to navigate in the main menu and inside the games by the mouse. And asighn "R" for looting inside dmz or warezone. I did them easy and quick. In the matrix way to complacated and take more time and understanding the system to perform the same, how to enable and disable groups, how to choose the keys binding and the exact action "hold,press,unhold,.. Too much steps for simple action!!! I had the matrix for around a month but till now I can't shift to it. Especially I don't need the smart action alot for rapid fire or so

@@aboteaf In most cases it is sufficient to just create a toggle bindinng with Matrix, that when active does XYZ. You dont need to use groups for most of the things you described.

@@aboteaf Hey, the YT comment section is kinda difficult to explain this. Id say create a XIM Forum account and post your request there. Its much easier to explain via pictures and such which cannot be shared via a KZread comment. You can also use the Southpaw ingame controller layout which will allow you to do that automatically. You must just invert the sticks in your XIM config.

Hello! Thank you for this! Just got my matrix dialed. Since I play inverted, will I be able to apply a negative value? Does that make sense? Meaning - since I play inverted, and I apply the above method, I think it’ll do the opposite. For example - on the 2.25% value, I would need it to be applied -2.25% - I think . When I have used anti-recoil in the past I have had to use negative values. What solutions do I have?

Hey, the magnitude stays the same, you just use a different aim angle. So instead of say using 180° = peg stick down, you use 0° which is peg stick upwards! :)

I know it’s an old video but I can’t find this answer anywhere How would you trace burst weapons like the hemlock or prowler? For anti recoil? Iv tried every 3 bullets. You set the smart action to "Press" instead of "Held" and then let it run for the duration of a single burst. So each time you click it runs just for that individual burst. You must therefore only compesate the amount of recoil that one burst has.

Does the matrix offer any advantages over the apex if you don’t want any smart actions? Just looking for better mouse movements and latency

The recoil of rust is not harder or different than the recoil shown in this video. If you follow the concept of this video then you can remove the recoil of any gun in rust too. The direction the recoil goes to doesnt matter since you compensate it as shown in this video! :)

Hey, Rust has a very challenging aim mechanic so i would recommend to do a Workshop to cover the main recoil pattern, and then manually edit and improve the smart action as shown in this video to get a no recoil result. I dont have Rust so i cannot do that, sorry.

@@kiingchucho-_-2091 You could copy the anti recoil smart action of XIM Matrix into your Nexus if you can find someone who has done it for XIM Matrix. If you want to do it yourself then follow the video you commented under, it works in the same fashion for Nexus. Or my Nexus anti recoil guide. You basically create several anti recoil blocks that approximate the S curve.

The distance doesnt matter for as long as there is enough space in-between bullet holes. Once you get to a point where its just a few pixels in-between them you are too far away or too close to it.

Any attachment that changes the recoil will also have to be considered when dialing in the anti recoil smart action. I used the recommended ingame settings from the XIM website in this video! :)

For anti recoil you must use "Mouse + Gamepad" and then use the recommended XIM ingame settings. The recoil setup itself is identical to the one shown in this video.

Hey i did this but on rainbow six siege and my gun goes straight down after i got rid of the all the horizontal recoil but i dont know how to make it shoot straight because i cant figure out what to set the aim angle to because i change it and it either shoots straight down or shoots straight to the right

Hey, you need to change your vertical recoil block. The video uses dedicated smart actions for horizontal and vertical. So if there is still vertical recoil left, you increase your vertical smart action intensity.

The concept of this video on how to dial in anti recoil will work with any gun. If two weapon have different recoil pattern then you must of course use different smart actions for each of them. You can either do that via smart action groups or dedicated configs. Both can be switched via a single button press. You can find tutorial videos for both of these approached on this channel.

for games you have to turn the ads on in mappings for some reason when i’m ads it doesn’t activate. i’m positive it’s not on active i’m trying to hook it up for rust console edition. but it does the pattern when i’m un ads still.

Hey, go to the bottom of your button bindings and expand the game roles option. Make sure ADS is bound to the left trigger 1% there. That way your XIM will recognize an "ADS only" smart action as such, or in general the ADS mode.

Quick question would the razer huntsman mini analog optical switches work with the xim matrix ?

Yes it works, but its analog movement doesnt work with XIM. For that the keyboard requires the Synapse driver running in the background.

Yes they do. If your weapon goes slightly to the right then you must counter that with a 90° aim angle, a magnitude and the correct wait action. See the video on how to dial in these 3 so your weapon doesnt go to the left anymore! :)

Hey, the concept is the very same for rust. You check into which direction the bullets go, and then you counter this direction by having your smart action move into the opposite direction. The video gives tips on how to find the right direction, timing and magnitude! In a few weeks there will be an easier way to dial in everything though!

Why do you need to put the timer on infinite? i was trying to set up one for the autoloading 8.25 extended medic gun in bf1,, its a single shot gun and really doesn't have much recoil but i shoot it fast and it does have vertical recoil .. when i made an action it would slow down my single shot speed,,im using a g502 mouse and wooting.. it seemed like i had to remove the timer and turn R2 down to 1% in the smart action to make it work . so i just have this ... R2 at 1% , magnutude 0.35% and 180 in my smart action.

The infinite wait action is not needed, but i still show it in my videos as its some sort of good practice. Its easier to understand for a newcomer that the last action is performed infinitely then.

@@williambryant6076 Hey, Apex Legends frequently changes the weapon recoil so the values you see in this video dont work anymore. But that doesnt matter much. The video teaches you how to remove the recoil of any weapon by yourself. So just follow the shown steps and adjust the smart actions! End of this year there will probably be a XIM update which will make this much easier!

Hi man, I've just received my matrix, for some reason the mouse and keypad aren't working !! They show up on the top of the manager, however, nothing happens when I press any button on the keypad or the mouse. Any advice?

Would you be able to make a video please for how to change the smart action settings for each weapon? I’ve been trying to figure it out so I don’t wanna be using the r301 recoil pattern when I’m using a volt for example. Please and Thankyou

It’s super annoying that the configs mess eachother up and I’ve tried to group them but then they don’t activate at all? Please help I’m confused

You have two options: Either use smart action groups to handle lots of weapons within one config, for that see my "XIM Nexus Weapon Tracking" video which also works for Matrix, or you use dedicated configs per loadout that you switch through via the config hotkey option.

How would you set this up to where you can cover for all of the automatic weapons in Apex Legends not just one?

You must handle your recoil patterns via group switching or config switching then. I covered both via dedicated videos on this channel. You can also adjust the ingame sensitvities for scopes so that a recoil pattern for a 1,0 scope also works for higher scopes.

Yes this concept applies to any console, any game, and any supported XIM input device. So you can use this with a controller + Matrix on the Xbox too! :)

Yes it does, this guide works in any game with relatively fixed recoil pattern. BF is one of those! :)

Great video. Any advice as to why the smallest magnitude is too strong? 0.01 at 180deg brings the gun down too fast. Can’t think what sensitivity or DPI I need to adjust. Appreciate any help!

If I pick up any gun in apex legends will this recoil trick work? Or do I have to make separate recoil values for every gun?

If two different weapons use different recoil pattern, and you want both of them to have absolutely 0 recoil, then yes you will need separate values for both weapons.

@@ferzahfy5196 See the picture in this video if you arent sure which angle correlates to what direction. If you want to go right then 90°, if you want to go left than 270°.

@@optazed_flair6141 Yes it will be back in a few days! Apple removes beta apps every 90 days and then they must be reviewed by Apple before they can be published again. The manager will be back as soon as Apple has done that!

@@lucalozza-tf5fr Gyro can improve your accuracy by a lot, but it requires a bit of time to get used to (1-3 days). Id say definitely give it a try. I have uploaded lots of XIM Nexus beginner videos on how to start out with a gyro. They also apply to XIM Matrix + gyro controller! :)

Im using azeron and mouse viper v2 does that count like a controller or mouse??

Yes thats possible! In a few weeks there will even be a firmware update to use Matrix in PC MnK only games. So games that have no controller support on PC.

When i adjust it like u did then i try on some enemies with aim assist it tend to kick up and because the aim assists is slower than my sensitivity? Whatl should I do ?

Aim assist has a mechanic called AA Slowdown, this will lower your sensitivity when being on target. As a result your Smart Action Anti Recoil will be too low when AA is active. You must increase the magnitudes. The downside is that when you arent on target, the Smart Action Anti Recoil will be too strong then. So you must choose in which case you want to have perfect anti recoil. Or you deactivate the aim assist to avoid this issue.

Like why are there two configs photo at the end of the vid??

They cover different recoil aspects. One is for vertical only, the other for horizontal only.
