See my "XIM Matrix Controller Config" video. You cannot use anti recoil when using a "Controller (Smart Actions only)" config, thats just not possible because you have no ST. Select a "Controller" config, follow the steps from the controller config video, and then you can use the Workshop too! And the Workshop can be used in the Finals as well, its just a bit harder to follow the bullet holes because they vanish quite quickly! :)

From what I’ve experienced, having zero recoil on games with aim assist makes hitting targets worse. Yes, you’ll have no recoil, but you’ll be adjusted to having no recoil meaning no fine motor movements to get back on target. Aim assist often fights you when making micro adjustments. I find having a least a little bit of recoil makes adjusting mid gunfight a lot easier since you’re already adjusting for that small amount of recoil. In short, have a little recoil so you’re not caught off guard when you’re missing a target from a small amount and try to nudge yourself back on target but aim assist is slowing your normal movements down/fighting you.

In that case it might be ideal for you to adjust the anti recoil so that its perfect when being off-target, and once you are on target the aim assist slowdown will result in a small recoil effect that you have to compensate manually.

@@user-uk7jx2pq3s You can remove that by manually editing the smart action sequence of your workshop result. Say it goes up right at the start, then increase the deg/s of the first entry. If it moves down to much lower the deg/s of the first entry.

Xim - me and my buddy compliment this channel and continuously praise you. We have one Q though How do you control the last 10 bullets on a gun if the rest of the bullets are centred and no recoil? For example it goes left at the end.. Any help is massively appreciated.

Hey, check if the weapon maybe uses randomized recoil for the last 10 bullets. Most games do that, especially rainbow six. The last few bullets are randomized and will therefore kick into different directions with each magazine. It is not possible to remove that, unless the game offers ingame weapon attachments that reduce or remove the randomization.

And yes recoil stabilization attachments are exactly what you want to use! Some remove randomizations, others remove only vertical recoil. So look up what each attachment does specifically to choose the right one(s)!

Hey odin I like this feature a lot and i used it in mw3 and it works very well, but in the game (The Finals) the bullets disappear almost instantly after you reload so you really don't have any time to trace , what do you think the solution for any game that has disappearing bullets be ? Hey, take a screenshot of the bullet pattern to later trace it. Ideally dont shoot into a completely blank wall but a wall with distinctive marks. You can then later use those marks to identify where each bullet went in your screenshot to the aim to that position. If you use a completely white wall then you will have no orientation on where to aim when looking at your screenshot.

Either try to be as fast as possible, take screenshot/clips, or the best solution is probably to use the manual recoil setup way as shown in my "XIM Matrix Best Anti Recoil For All Weapons" video! :)

Yes, roughly 15-0-0. In some games you may have to use 13-0-0 or maybe 17-0-0 though.

The tracing process just tells your XIM how the recoil looks like. With X and Y scaling you dial in the amount of anti recoil intensity in up/down (Y) and left/right (X). If you for example still have vertical recoil you would increase the Y scaling until its gone.

I don’t think i I could dial it in like it’s a laser beam, because of the randomization, but a small cluster I think could be doable, but would love to see you do it!

@@getdestroyed1958 Hey, the steps for CoD would be the very same as shown in this video. Use the vertical modifier to further spread out bullet holes, and then trace 3 pattern. Use the X and Y scaling afterwards to finetune. This should provide an excellent result afterwards!

Seeing you demonstrate it in COD would set the tone for what realistically you can do for COD. Just a suggestion. I still need to mess with it more, but I love the enhancements!

Either take screenshots/a video while shooting at a wall with a distinctive texture so you can later track where each bullet went to, or do the manual anti recoil way as shown in my "XIM Matrix Perfect Anti Recoil" video. With that approach it doesnt matter if bullet holes vanish rather quickly.

Hey Odin, I appreciate the effort you put in the videos so that everyone can understand (in what your doing a insanely good job) and copy it step by step. Thank you very much for the guidance! I do have one serious bummer to talk about, it’s the mousetrap on R6. Since the Majors begun I get moustraped left and right, with no reason what so ever. I do have a GK61 with SAB on 78 and a Logitech G Pro Superlight with SAB 54 (I went from 50 / 36 up) but I still get Moustrap every other game (even without the anti recoil settings) and this is a real bummer for me because R6 is such a nice game that I used to play day in day out but now I don’t really wanna touch the game anymore

An improved SAB may get released soon for Matrix. Until then your only way is to progressively increase your SAB until you are fine again. The upcoming SAB is much more advanced and offers far more customization! It has been refined by alpha testers for lots of months now!

Those have different recoil patterns and would require their own workshop. See the end of this video on how you can conveniently handle this within one config! :)

301 easy weapon but other like havoc, flatline, r99 and dev so hard setting the recoil

Stacking two workshops usually lets you remove the recoil of any weapon. Make sure to trace plenty of traces to avoid the weapon sway from ruining your result.

Do you have a discord or something? Guides are fine and that, but theres still so many questions newbs needs answeared, like how do you use the manager with nav mode off? i cant use the workshop while im in nav, but i cant use the mouse while im not

Hey, you can check out the XIM Forum with over 100.000 users on that. The XIM Company has no official Discord, there are a few inofficial XIM Community Discords though. I also run an inofficial Discord as a channel member KZread perk. You need to sideload the IPA file onto your iOS device or use the Android/PC Manager. Apple currently doesnt allow more Testflight users and there isnt much that the XIM Company can do about this.

Works much better than you might assume, since those weapons usually dont change their recoil anymore after X amount of bullets. Also the next Workshop video will show you have to handle weapons which still do change recoil even after so many bullets! ;)

Thats not possible, no. You can however upgrade your phone manager to the most recent beta manager if you want to.

Followed all your steps, but when I have Destiny 2 open in a private match, nothing happens in the workshop mode, with both the vertical modifier and the tracing - nothing I've done changes anything, my recoil is still the same, the vertical climb is still the same, and it won't register/actually do the tracing. I don't know what's going wrong.

Hey, have you followed the recommendations from the beginning of the video? Such as aim roles, role assignments for RT and LT, and using no "Gamepad (Smart Actions only)" config?

In BO4 is hard to do this because when you shoot at the wall the the bullet wholes disappear before you can even trace all of them .

Use a wall with distinctive scratches or textures, then take a screenshot once the pattern is on the wall. After that use the scratches/texture to tell where each bullet went to from the screenshot.

Hey, all game configs have the workshop. You enter a binding of your choice, go into the smart action manager, and then into the workshop. If you are on controller then the steps are a bit differently. I have covered those in a dedicated video on this channel.

For some reason, when I use the vertical modifier to speed out my bullets for workshop, it doesn’t work. It doesn’t spread out my bullets at all even if I increase the values. What could cause that?

Hey, are your ingame settings the same as from the XIM website? Can you try extremly high modifier values and see if that makes a difference? Another thing could be your role assignment. Check if shooting is bound to the correct button in the role assignment, otherwise your XIM wont know when you want to initate a shot.

Weapon attachments change the recoil pattern. So ideally use a weapon loadout that you are very likely to use ingame for the most consistent results.

Is it possible to make a xim aim response curve for the linear COD in game response curve? I feel that this would govern even better mouse movements and work better with aim assist.

The XIM ST is already providing you with a linear experience. It doesnt matter what response curve has been used when training the config ST, the result will always be linear. What matters though is how good the response curve is and how well the resolution points are distributed across the controller. Linear is usually really poor in that regard and therefore usually not chosen as the response curve for XIM STs.

hii xim team. i have played with xim apex and the besavior u5, now i cant use the u5 and i cant play ps5 with apex. do you have a solution or fix to play with the apex on ps5? i cant play via remotr because i havent a pc... its possible with an update to support the ds5 directly with the apex hub ? thanks

Matrix is also PC compatible and allows native MnK output. So you can play CS2 and other games with native MnK while using smart actions and everything else! ;)

My manager on my phone is updated but it still won’t connect to my xim saying the manager is out of date how do I fix this?

Hey, you must update your manager, its older than your firmware. You cannot use the manager from the app store anymore, instead use the manager from the XIM Forum (link in the video description).

I’m so thankful for this! The anti recoil use to be hard for me.

Is this coming to the Nexus manager as well? I don’t use Keyboard and Mouse only controller and I cant seem to get it to work. When tracing it doesn’t move up or down acts like my controller is sitting in one spot.

I initially thought the same, but with the complexity introduced in the latest update, simultaneous updates for both the Matrix and Nexus are no longer feasible. Although the Nexus has the capability to handle these advanced features, implementing them would be time-consuming and challenging. Unfortunately for Nexus-only users, the Matrix tends to take precedence in updates due to its larger user base.

You can use the Workshop with controllers too, just make sure your stick is bound to the aiming role in the first menu screen. After that it should work to trace bullets with it.

Hello my xim just came in today and all my devices are plugged up but while I’m playing r6 while in the shotting range I can’t move my scope. It will only allow me to aim and shoot. When I aim I can’t move my scope to a different direction using my mouse. Any suggestions?

Hey, I'm trying to set up a PC configuration and connection method for my mouse and keyboard. When I add the left button to the bindings and add a smart action for anti-recoil, all it does in-game is ADS (aim down sights) and doesn't fire. The aim goes down because I haven't set up any aim magnitude since it just doesn't fire. Can you help me out with this?

Hey, have you maybe bound ADS to that smart action? Or is your ingame controller layout maybe not on default but uses switched R2/L2 bindings?

@XIMCentral So far, I just tested anti recoil on both input setups from pc and working. I have to set proper anti recoil numbers.

all good until i get into the trace part ny weapon fire instead of clicking an the xim matrix wants me to disable firing how to do that when i wan to trace each bullet ?

If you have several fire actions you must disable those by clicking into them and then top left active -> disabled.

Hello I have a question, what would be a solution too me using the besavior, I can’t use it because on my ps5 slim my headset dongle is blocking the other usb c port

I need help, my ads sensitivity doesn’t change in game. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. The lower I put the value to 0 the curser moves on its own, but my sensitivity doesn’t increase

You can disregard Move SAB then since you already use an analog movement device.

At 4:05 after you shoot at the wall when I play mouse and keyboard my controller won’t be useable and I can’t measure the bullet marks

@@ziadsammour5472 Have you opened the workshop through your R2 fire binding as shown in the video? That one will continue to work, unless you are in tracing mode.

I have the besavior u5 and xim apex. When plugged in it will work for a couple seconds then become completely unresponsive. If it’s drawing too much power what do I do to fix that? Also I never updated my besavior but I only have a MacBook can I still update the firmware on a Mac? I want to use this to play ps5 games but can’t figure it out please help. Thank you

I think that is on the to-do list, but i dont know how high the priority is. The Dev Team is currently working on other projects. Features are usually addressed based on popularity within the XIM Forum.

How does this apply to Warzone? I notice what i add in shooting range does not work in warzone. What about behaviour simulator?

Hey, make sure to have the same weapon attachments in the shooting range or else the recoil will be different. As for behaviour simulation, see the beginning of the video.

You must update both your XIM Firmware via PC or Mac, and the phone manager. You cannot use the phone manager from the app store anymore, instead use the one from the XIM Forum.

I have a question will the xim nexus gyro controller work on PS5 after the unfortunate update.I dont have a labtop right now so remote play wont be an option.

Use the vertical modifier with a negative value to tighten the recoil so all bullets fit onto the wall.

Side buttons on mouse aerox 9 is not working

my workshop doest'n work right, like i turn my Vertical Modifier to 20 to easy to setup and after finish all step its not turn back to 0 and my recoil 's messup any solotion guys

Check if you use the recommended ingame settings plus all the other stuff mentioned in the beginning of the video!

Did I make a mistake by turning on the trigger key and clicking on the small wrench in the upper right corner to open the workshop? It always shows Exit Navigation Mode for Workshop when I click on it

Hey, that just means you must close the navigation mode prior to loading the workshop. This is due to the navigation mode suspending the translation system of your XIM (its direct passthrough in Nav Mode). You can exist the Nav Mode with your specified button sequence in the global settings, or by pressing any key or button of mouse MnK or controller connected to port 1 or 2 of your XIM Matrix.

@@XIMCentral When I use this feature - "Increase to add more distance between shots. Increase to avoid vertical recovery limits". It was found that when adjusting the xy value in the future, this function was not corrected but continued to take effect

is there a way to use this with fortnite? bullet holes disappear on all custom maps.

Either take screenshots/video clips or go with the manual recoil dial-in method from my "XIM Matrix Perfect Anti Recoil" video. I would probably go for the latter as its faster to setup than using reference pictures/videos.

My matrix dont even give me anti recoil how do i activate it almost 3 hours has gone by

Yes there is. You can bind as many button with additional actions as you want to! Also you have up to 7. Assign different bindings to a new group and then switch into that group to access completely new and independent button layouts!

Also how do I find out the fire rate for each gun

Via Google usually, just search for your game + weapon name + RPM.

Yes absolutely, and its exactly the same steps. You just use a controller config instead and open the workshop from your fire binding (usually right trigger).

im getting the "bindings that fire must be disabled" error on controller. can someone help? im using only an elite controller plugged into to xim. thanks

Deactivate the bindings you have and reactivate later. Also it’s better to create a new config and then copy paste whatever you want to your main config.

@@JJ-bj6hg hey thanks for the reply, im new to xim. i dont have any configs or bindings. i have my controller plugged into port 3 with nothing else plugged. i picked the game with a new config that im playing, went to the mappings. added right trigger positon mapping. under "choose how to map this input" left it blank and went to workshop. measured the rpm, that worked,. then when i try to trace, nothing

A controller in Port 3 is regarded as an authentication controller. Please connect it into Port 1 or 2 instead so the workshop wont have any problems. If you are on Xbox or PS4 make sure to also have an authentication controller in port 3.

That means you have additional fire actions being bound that would otherwise cause the Workshop to fail. If you were to trace bullets you would shoot each time which makes your weapon kick around and ruin the Workshop result.

Hey i consider buying this product, but i dont got a controller, do i need it if im on pc if i want aim assist? and so ill get it. and do u need more than 1 mouse and keyboard?

On PC you dont need a controller (only if you want to play with one). One keyboard and mouse is sufficient as Matrix also offers MnK output so you can control your PC with your MnK through the XIM.

Change the smoothing preset back to "Light". The new firmware uses "Synchronous" as the default option which is more direct and less smooth.
