Hello, why does Xime Matrix only work on the Forward USB of my Xbox series x? and not in the two USBs in the back?? My Forward and Backwards USB broke when I plug it in, the green light comes out, then red, then white, and it flashes. I don't know what to do.

Thats the default setup. You need to turn it off nav mode via the global settings.

If you use different ingame controller layouts then you must always have a look at the ingame controller layout to know what action is bound to what controller button, so that you can make the corresponding XIM Config button binding for that.

Hello! I have a question. I've been using the Cronus Zen on my PS5 to play offline fighting games with my family. Problem is, after the latest PS5 update, this device is not working anymore. I'm under the impression that XIM Matrix works on PS5 since it uses a different method to connect your controller.My questions is.. Could I use a Xim matrix together with my Cronus ZEN, so I can use all the combos and actions that I've created? The input lag would be lower than using remote play? I use an arcade stick, but a normal PS5 gamepad should do it for me too. Thank you

Hey, yes that should be possible. You could probably run all combos through Matrix as well if desired. But chaining the two is possible based on community feedback.

Hey, the XIM ST will make any aim mechanic linear. So just add a curve that resembles exponential ramp or dual zone. In the case of exponential ramp it is sufficient to just pick "native stick behavior". See this video you have commented under on what i mean by that. As for OW2, just add what i have shown in my XIM Matrix OW2 Config Tutorial video on top of this general controller config video! :)

Hey, Matrix doesnt need Internet, its remote play solely runs within your local network and therefore has no delay. Currently the only other alternative are to use different remote play solutions, which all have more delay than XIM Matrix.

Sorry, but I have one more question. Will I be able to play games designed (developed) for the PlayStation 4 via the xim matrix on the PlayStation 5 without connecting the xim matrix (Internet) to the Lan connector, as for example if I played by connecting the xim matrix to the PlayStation 4?

On Xbox you must connect your controller to port 3 of your XIM Matrix. This is mandatory since it will act as the authentication controller.

Hopefully in the future we can use xim matrix on ps5 without remote play cant play music while gaming

@@helta4911 That is up to you. Most games wont process inputs faster than 250Hz but if you want even less delay then you can definitely go for 1000Hz! :)

Hey, you must first enter the Nav Mode. Then hotkeys will work. Also close the manager app or otherwise Matrix will expect you to switch configs via the app. So enter Nav Mode -> use hotkey - leave Nav Mode.

@@lucalozza-tf5fr So yes gyro can be very beneficial for aiming and aim assist. But given how its very close to mouse aiming you dont get that much AA. To increase the AA you can use smoothing. I have covered several decent gyro smoothing values in my XIM Nexus config tutorials. The setup of Nexus is the same as for Matrix + gyro controller in that regard! :)

i have designated keys to switch groups for different operators anti recoil on keyboard and mouse, but what binding on my controller would i use to do that? Or is there an easier way to have anti recoil for multiple operators without having to bind each group to a button on my controller.

Id say keep a keyboard connected that you use to switch profiles while gaming on the controller. Or use modifiers to switch profiles so you dont accidentally perform an ingame action.

Hey, yes absolutely! On PS5 only one controller is required and you would plug it into Port 1 or 2. And yes you can use gyro in any game then. With the new beta firmware you can even use gyro mapped to mouse in console games which offer native MnK!

Hey, you can find plenty of controller configs in the XIM Forum. As for the switching, you do that via groups as shown in my XIM Matrix Groups Tutorial video. Alternatively there is also a lengthy guide on that in the XIM Manual. Either use modifiers to switch groups since you are on a controller, or connect a keyboard to your XIM with which you switch the groups.

Hey, in that case create a "Gamepad" config, set the XIM config X and Y stick sensitivities to 100, and use your own preferred stick sensitivities in the game. Any non-stick ingame sensitivities must match the recommended XIM settings though (such as deadzone).

You dont, XIM Matrix is PS5 compatible.

When I bind aim to my right stick it instead works on left stick and vice versa. I’m on ps4 controller using game pad playing apex legends. All my in game stick setting are what they’re supposed to be. It’s got me stumped pls help if you know a solution :)

@@ghettochicken8420 Hey, Xbox controllers dont have any gyro module so you cannot use them for gyro aiming. You need a controller that has such a module built in, such as PSN controllers, Steam Controller, Nintento Switch Pro controller and so on.

I would advice to just head to the XIM Forum instead, that is where you can ask any question. As for your second question, i think you mean orbital aim assist. And yes you can do that, see my Matrix OW2 config video on how to set it up. Its the same setup for controller players.

The only way to transfer sensitivities from Apex to Matrix and vice versa is to take a ruler and measure your cm per 360° ratio on one XIM, and then use that value to transfer it to the other XIM.

@@Ksa-Abdullah Place a ruler under your mousepad and measure the distance you need to move your mouse on the mousepad to do a slow 360° turn in the game. Say that takes 30 centimeters. Then adjust your Matrix sensitivity as often as needed until you do a 360° turn with the same distance on the mousepad!

For now XIM only offers touchpad press since there are less than 10 games which utilize swipe inputs. Assuming it would get implemented it would probably just cover the 4 main swipe directions like up/down/left/right. From those 10 games less than 3 use custom swipe directions i think.

Unfortunately for many of the classic games on PlayStations subscription/streaming service, you need to use the touchpad to emulate the "start" and "select" button. Left side of the touchpad for "start", right side for "select" (poor decision made by Sony), and many games require you to press the start button to actually start the game. But I completely understand if XIM never adds custom touch inputs. Thanks again for the help.

I need help, I’ve binded all my original ps controls on the mapping, I use the set in game settings for siege (100v-100h) 10 10 Dz and 50 standard ads but it way to fast and I don’t get that hip and ads for the analog, all my anti recoil settings where made on 100+ ads sens so it won’t work on the standard settings,then when I try to map the recoil on controller in workshop I get the recoil pattern and the Y is like 7.50+ and the recoil is still flying up, can anyone help me set these controller configurations up

Hey! Create a Gamepad config in your XIM Manager and then use the recommended XIM ingame settings. In your XIM Config you can adjust your controller X and Y sensitivity. That way you can get a normal controller stick sensitivity. Say use X = 30 and Y = 25 for example.

I have a problem regarding xim matrix on pc. So when I move with WASD the key binds change to key buttons instead of controller in Fortnite and at the same time the AA doesn’t work when it happens. It’s like using kb&m without the xim. How can I fix this problem?

I assume you are on PC. You must force the game into controller mode, and remove additional mice and keyboards from the PC. Otherwise the game will recognize dual inputs.

First find your most optimal gyro sensitivity in a custom match. After that think about the most ideal way how you want to activate, deactivate or pause the gyro. Once you have found something for both that you are comfortable with you can start playing actual games. I have uploaded a video a while ago which goes into more detail on that! :)

Yes you can! For the best compatibility i would go with a USB 2.0 Hub with 3 ports. Thats what the original XIM Apex hub was. Most USB 3.0 Hubs will also work, but will be more expensive.

Hey, thats because the DPI box doesnt change your DPI. Its a box that tells your XIM how much you have set your mouse to. If your mouse runs 10000 DPI, but you tell your XIM it only runs on 1000 DPI, then this will boost your sensitivity because 10000 DPI is a lot faster than the 1000 DPI your XIM expected you to use.

@@naomi0917 That means your mouse DPI didnt get saved onto the mouse itself, but only on your local PC. Make sure to save your changes onto the mouse itself (Logitech Onboard Memory Manager software for Logitech mice for example). If that is done, then the sensitivity will feel the same between 3200 and 800 DPI.

Is xim matrix worth it for Xbox one controller? I currently use Cronus zen and it’s not great

I do not want to talk bad about the competition so id say ask that question in the XIM Forum or one of the XIM related Discords! Matrix has full controller support though, which means all of its features can be used with a controller too! :)

Hey, you can turn off the Nav Mode through the global settings in the XIM Manager. How does your hardware setup look like?

when i use rapid fire with mnk it works but when i use rapid fire with my controller(gamepad) it doesn’t work

Hey, you must bind the rapid fire to your controller too then. I assume you bound it to the left mouse click. You also need to bind it to the right analog trigger. See my "Nexus Best Rapid Fire" video on what you must do with a controller. It works the same for Matrix + controller.

As a first step id say use the new synchronization firmware for Matrix and watch my tutorial on it on how to use it. That will make the most difference and replicate the XIM Apex feeling. As for the DPI, stay the same id say. Matrix works better with more DPI but you are mostly interested in getting the XIM Apex feeling back i think.

Just recently i uploaded a video which will show you how to handle smart action groups. That alows you to address the different weapons and tie rapid fire or other things to them. For rapid fure and such you can find tutorial videos on this channel too already.

all the smart actions work perfectly but my aim is significantly worse since i have to use 10-10 deadzone on r6. is there a way to use my old 5-5 deadzone or anything similar to that response time?

The XIM ST turns this 10/10 into a 0/0 deadzone. Make sure to connect your controller to port 1 or 2 though to not have an added deadzone. Authentication controllers in port 3 run on a much larger deadzone.

@@HouIigan Yes exactly. A XIM ST stands for smart translator which is the technology that coverts your aiming inputs to controller output. Anti recoil requires this.

@@XIMCentral i was on the xim matrix forums and seen that someone else was having the same issue i was. seems like it only happens on r6 unfortunately where if you use the gamepad option with ST your deadzone feels stiff. even when i made a brand new config with no smart actions and only my sens and all the game requirements the deadzone just cannot make micro adjustments like how it would in nav mode or with the xim unplugged. i tried changing from native stick behaviour to custom but that just made the stick extremely sensitive and couldn’t find a balance. is there a reason this only happens on r6 when using the gamepad option

Hey, see the video chapter "Gamepad" for that. You need to select the correct config type, and then switch from native stick behavior to custom.

So you don’t plug in a keyboard or mouse and the controller goes in it’s normal slot on the xim matrix?

​@@Ripper_J Make sure to use the correct ingame settings and XIM config. After that verify that your mouse runs on enough DPI. Past that point find your most optimal mouse sensitivity and then add some smoothing if still needed.

@@XIMCentral one more question so I play a lot of cod and I’ve seen KZreadrs with the xim dominate. Ya know cod has skill based match making which is horrible for good players and makes your accuracy worse but since the xim is local it has zero to do with how cod runs things. Would it make my accuracy and aim better because like I said cod makes you lose gunfights . I also reverse boost lol as do many KZreadrs do it but do you think I’ll win more gunfights with the xim?

Hello, Apex Legend does not work when I copy the shared settings. The keyboard key is firing, the mouse is not moving. Please help, while XIM Apex was playing fine, XIM Matrix was disappointing.

Hey, make sure to deactivate the Nav Mode as that will prevent your mouse from working. See the XIM instructional videos from the XIM website for more infos on that.

If the PS5 encryption keye ever become public knowledge then yes, probably. Until then you will have to use a Besavior U5 if you dont want to use remote play with XIM (see my video on that for more infos).

Hey, lets say the ingame sensitivity goes from 0 to 10 and you use 3,5 ingame for your sticks. Just max out the ingame sensitivity as described on the XIM website and then use your former ingame stick sensitivity in the XIM Config. Since the XIM Config sensitivity goes from 0 to 100, and ingame 3,5 equates to 35 in the XIM Config.

@@antoinelabelle2053 Siege is a game where the aim mechanic pretty much scales linearly. So you could also just use your preferred ingame settings while keeping the XIM Config sensitivity at 100 for both.

Hello, I don't know if it's because of the version of the Matrix that I have, or what, because the remote play affects the config and the AIM ASSIST does not work properly and is unplayable. @@XIMCentral The router is next to me and I use a Cat 7 cable. The download speed is more than 100Mpbs... I think I found a solution I set up a Matrix connection as a DMZ host. So far it works perfectly. Thank you for your help and I apologize for the inconvenience.

@@xriskr3330 Great to hear that! Yes it must have been something within your local network. XIM Matrix doesnt use the Internet so your up- or download-speed isnt relevant for the connection quality!

Yes thats possible, just connect a PS4 controller to port 3 of your Matrix and then select PS4 controller as your output type in your XIM config.

@@oTremTaMaquinado That would probably be too trivial for a video. Just create a new config and in the first screen when it asks you what type of input and output you want to use you select what i described above. This requires the latest XIM beta firmware and manager.

Beides ist in Ordnung. Beloader arbeitet an einer Firmware welche die Polling Rate erhöht. Würde dein XIM bis dahin auf 250Hz stellen damit es nicht permanent lila leuchtet, was etwas nervig sein kann.

@@getupwithmelol You can also just use your normal ingame stick sensitivity and instead set the XIM Controller Config X and Y sensitivity to 100. Then its the same feeling and sensitivity as without the XIM.

@@eaxily3020 Id say check if the cables sit in tightly or if they have room to wiggle inside the connection port. Also please have your Matrix manager running at the same time to check if the entire XIM shuts down, or just the remote play connection.

Hey, thats because the DPI box doesnt change your DPI. Its a box that tells your XIM how much you have set your mouse to. If your mouse runs 10000 DPI, but you tell your XIM it only runs on 1000 DPI, then this will boost your sensitivity because 10000 DPI is a lot faster than the 1000 DPI your XIM expected you to use.

@@parkerstemen4374 If you have a Logitech mouse use the Logitech Onboard Memory Manager software to change your mouse DPI. That way it will be saved onto the mouse memory. For other mice you may have to look up guides through Google on how to do it.
