Hey like the video a lot great job and yes it is unfortunate that the HORIZON VISTA FOR DUAL SENSE™ and all strike packs no longer work because I never even used the mods on the controller I just liked that it was a cheaper alternative solution to getting back buttons for the controller and I hope there will be a update at some point that gets it working again. Do you think that this specific device will ever work again in your opinion?

I agree with you on the DualSense Edge controller. From a consumer's POV you get more for your buck if you instead go for the Besavior Elite controller or the PS5 Strike Pack Horizon Vista attached to a standard DualSense controller. Apart from other features missing like rapid fire, macros etc. for me personally it is especially the number of back buttons (only 2 compared to 4 on the third party devices) that makes me dislike Sony's DualSense Edge. Hopefully the guys at Collective Minds will be able to counter soon with a corresponding firmware update.

@@GearsAndTech I did the update … totally bummed but then I remembered that I had my besavior tucked away in a box somewhere. So I broke it out and watched your old videos on setting it up with zen. I finally got it to work perfectly yesterday with Xbox series x controller. No disconnects. Good content for u to make a refresher as a lot of folks are scrambling:)

No.. if you use zen for cod on ps5 as a example. Every 5 mins it will automatically boot you to ps5 home screen during any game play you're doing. But it does not close out the game for you and it's annoying. I notice this after updating my zen and my ps5.

Sony had a back paddle plug in device for ps4 that sold for $30 if it was just about the paddles they could have sold a new version for ps5. They didn’t cancel all those devices back then I just don’t see them doing it because of the paddles now. They were tired of the cheaters…

Paddles would hurt their DualSense Edge sales. I feel like that's why they didn't release one of their own back button attachments like they did for the DualShock 4 and why they shut down all these 3rd party devices when Cronus created paddles for the DualSense. Imo

Is Xim Matrix the best option now? I was previously using Besavior U5 + Xim Apex and before that Xim Apex + Remote Play. My PS5 has ethernet connection but my macbook did not. If I use a PC with ethernet and remote play will it be better? Or if I do not have a PC, but I order a XIM Matrix and put ethernet into that as well as my PS5 + Macbook + Remote Play will it be the same? I understand the forced update came out today but I'm just trying to brainstorm... BTW - LOVE the videos!! I bought the Besavior U5 because of you. Yeah i bought my cronus Zen for the purpose of using my Astro c40 for ps5 games. It just sucks that it doesn't work besides remote play (which my wifi signal isn't strong so not really an option) because i miss my Astro c40 on the PlayStation. Thank God it works just fine on pc

I dont understand why you would spend money on a device used for cheating and then claim its for jumping and shooting at the same time. Seriously got conned by illegal consumer advice and products. There are always specials on pro controllers that are better than the original Playstation products, Thrustmaster, Razer, Nacon all have older gen products on sale. I welcome this decision from Sony. Controller itself is very unnatural for FPS games, hence you need back buttons and game makers needed to implement aim assist to be on par with mouse and keyboard. People started abusing this controller concept. A lot of PC gamers play on controller using Chronus and whatnot. Back in the day WZ1 was enjoyable, but MW2 & MW3 is plain suffering.

How old are you? Do you understand what a monopoly is? Not the board game, the actual term… Edit: There are actually people (a very small number, I’m sure) who use some of these devices for accessibility or even just using a different controller with their PS5. Also PVP games are now cross play with PC. Why don’t you have a look into the cheats those guys use. Last I checked you couldn’t use any of these for wall or radar hacks, aimbot, ESP, god modes, etc, etc, etc. They’re toys compared to the actual hacks being used by 10’s of thousands of players for every AAA PVP game out there…

Cross play off is the biggest help. Once you're in with pc players the hacks are nuts

Not for wired connection. besavior pro controller will unlock wired

Im glad I sold my Cronus Zen because I was only using it so I can use PS4 controllers on PS5 fighting games but then Sony started blocking that feature 🤦🏿🤷🏿

i hate cheaters i just wanna enjoy my games and my ps5 and xbox everybody should have a fair chance to win a game based on skill no matter what the game is be it a shooter or 2k or madden or whatever i say if sony and microsoft really care about there consumers theyd put in some sort of patch or something that would brick a cheaters console as soon as they plug in and turn on a cheating device and attach a some kind of secret id or code to the end user that cheats so they can place a lifetime ban on them that way no matter what console they play on it bricks the console buy another console as soon as it goes online brick it i havent got it all figured out but if there's a way identify and have some sort of software built into each and every console or even pc's that cant be hacked or bypassed just attempting to would brick their console or pc and lifetime ban them on any other console or pc i bet the cheating would pretty much go away immediately

they arent cheat devices, they literally are blocking shared controller keys, cronus and besavior obviously got the controller files from the same provider

I play controller on pc but wired not remote play so if I got the strike pack, would the controller still work? I’ll only be using the strike pack for the buttons

Strike packs still work on ps5 if you use a PS4 controller

Not totally true. There is a work around now, but it's a bit finicky and dumb to try and use each time

You can chuck steering wheels in there to. Which is why I had one. So I could play gran turismo with my PS3 wheel. Now I will have to buy a new wheel. I don't play cod

This suck. I have a disabled friend who can only use ps4 controller on Ps5. With besavior u5 he can finally play. Now back to ground zero again 👎 )The PS5 Access controller was not suitable for him either, we tried :(

Noticed a glaring issue with the theory that Sony is just trying to monopolize the market, the sony pro controller doesn't provide scripts and cheats... Womp womp. If you "just use it for the paddles i swear" maybe buy an officiak pro controller, Sony, Nacon, and Scuff just to name well known ones. Funny how none of those sell cheats either. what about the dirt cheap controllers parents buy for kids? No cheats, no ban. Simple as that.

All those controllers start as a ps5 controller and then get modified. So it's still first party And they are expesnvoe

No. Those are not first party controllers and they do not have to use official controllers as templates. I double checked and that's a lie, and a pretty obvious one seeing as Sony has never made an official asymmetric controller. Only third party brands offer that. They drew a clear line in the sand and it's simple. Again, no cheats, no ban. Now about the expensive argument. If you can save over $500 for a console, you should be capable of saving less than half the money for a propper paddle controller. Just go with Sony or Nacon, sturdy and reliable. Scuf melts in your hands to make you buy replacement parts. Fuck 40-100 dollar cheating devices, they earned the bans. These cheap easy ways to cheat are a big problem. Producing cheating products is ILLEGAL and very well should be. It's like pirating, you using the service isn't illegal, but the people producing and selling the products definitely are breaking the law. Until now, they've left if in the hands of developers to punish cheaters, but it's become such a widespread issue on console now that they are forced to do something. Especially seeing as a lot of games, looking at you cod and siege, don't want to really punish cheaters because it would hurt the precious player count.

I'm little unfortunate here because i sold my PC to my friend and bought ps5 just for us to play tekken 8 together. But i got 1000 + hours in siege on PC and wanted to play with other friends since i know there is a crossplay. I feel like sloth playing on pad against pc players. I'm just gonna leave siege on ps5. Even theese Devices ain't gonna change anything since it's mimics pad, so no mouse movement.

Cheaters in games aren't cool

I play normally. I used u5 to use the PS4 controller because the PS5 controller gives me a lot of pain in my hands. If someone killed you using a Zen, don't play again because it's not Zen. It's you who don't know how to play.
