its like the " its ok, next year." if there was no proof there was going to be a next year.

I like Microsofts new business model..its slowly shifting the industry ...striking deals to put games on gamepass ..adds value to your platform without taking away from other platforms..but also adds value to devs/publishers who don't lose out on sales on other platforms

I think there is a overestimation of Playstation "power" at this point, especially after they underdelivered this year. Im not sure if people are noticing, but Playstation has their hands full after spending the last several years being LAZY doing anti-competitive moves rather than pushing forward. What they did most was try to starve competition from 3rd party content, invest into a single genre of game and lock everything behind a single hardware. Playstation wanted to be the Apple of games, alienating people to charge them extra for a "premium" experience. But their plans were frustrated when Microsoft decided to backup xbox and push a new business model, with PC support, live service games, subscription, cloud, acquisitions, etc... XBoX has been building this diversity for years and now they are in a good position. Playstation is playing catch up. I think when a company is rushed into too many fronts there will be a drop on quality, in the past 2 years PS changed their tone and is now pursuing subscription, handheld, VR, GaaS, multiplayer games, mobile, PC ports.. NONE of this existed 3 years ago (well, except for VR). Their focus is too split and this showcase with no identity feels to me like the proof Sony is throwing everything at the wall to see what sticks. This is probably why they spent so much time without a showcase

I agree with Jez on bunjie.. Theyve pretty much made game...to have them as the overseers of your live service games it not smart..especially given they nature of live service..being creating a new experience often times get the best result.

The bar is set extremely low so let’s hope Microsoft doesn’t trip over their own feet 🦶

Hmm that's a good question tbh lol. The Xbox Series X is more powerful and will give you 4K gaming on 4K TVs, but the ROG Ally is portable ... that's actually not a simple question tbh. Right now I'm honestly not sure which I'd pick lol. Docked at 30 watts turbo mode the ROG Ally is a little fucking beast.

Destiny 2 PvP is not trash, but it isn't great. Too many people want too many different things for the PvP to be aside from some of the overall gripes like maps. Bungie is definitely the studio that should be helping on factions.

One thing that annoys me about the game community and ppl on youtube is ppls inconsistencies when it comes to graphics.. Graphics dont matter...until it matters.. Fps dont matter until it matters.. Its clear when ppl are fanboys..because its the IPs and the platform they love they excuse and give a pass....and the ones they dont really care for yhey hold to a high standard. Best example is when it comes to Nintendo..theyre held to zero standards..and its simply because they're Nintendo.

And the same argument can be said for Destiny...Destiny came out in 2014 where there was room for mistakes in live service...Bungie doesn't know more than anybody how to LAUNCH a live service game in 2024. They know how to retain Destiny players, and that's it! It's scary to think that Bungie greenlit Fair Games & Concord, but delayed the development of Factions, coming from the golden child of PlayStation!

Bad bit acts like a neutral and then caps for Sony and Nintendo. I can't with him sometimes. I agree that the console war is getting more and more toxic and most people don't care. That said, Sony holds a weird minds hare among gamers just like Nintendo does and some of that is Xbox fault and some of it is media bias and the bias of fan boys like him that cap for Sony regardless of what they do.

It was a big mistake by Xbox to let Rod Fergusson and Mike Ybarra go.They have completely turned around Blizzard which seem impossible to do some years ago.These guys should have replaced Matt Booty.

They didn't get fired, they chose to left also Matt Booty needs 4 more executives to do his job with him, because it shouldn't just be him that has to oversee the 15 Xbox Game Studios.
