Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

On a BMW the rear hatch automatic open feature can stop working. One of the most common causes of the rear hatch not working on a BMW ( Specifically a BMW X3 G01 ) is the spindle drives.
In this video I go over diagnosis of the spindle drives and full replacement.
This system is also known as the HKL. I go over the location of the HKL module and some common things to check, such as water intrusion.
Fault Code 801709 Rear Lid Lift Motor Left Open Circuit.
This video will also help with removal of the rear trim panels, Side trim panels, C pillar removal and much more.

Ummmm, that isn't a G01. Since you're so familiar with the brand, you make it look easy to do. Nice video.

MaxiCOM MK808BT Pro. My friend just purchased the expensive one with programming. I want to check that one out! I hope the spindle drives do the trick for you!

Thank you so much for this video. I feel like I'm slowly getting to the point where I can fix a similar issue in my car. After replacing a submerged module with a matching used one.. My Autel scanner doesn't even recognize it. Do you know If it has to be programmed to even be seen my a scanning software?. I would think that a matching one should at least be visible in the module tree Thank you so much in advance

Glad to help. Sorry you have an issue with water damage. The autel should see the module. The reason it cannot is usually due to a wiring issue like power ground or communication. Using the same matching module should allow the scanner to see it even if it is not programmed.
