Back to Swaffham Raceway's Figure of 8 layout and another 8 laps, this time using the Bel Air. The big muscle cars are great for speed but not for handling, cornering and braking, and they're not too strong either - the Bel Air is stronger, anyway. And as for speed, well it's not particularly useful for a track this tight; often a disadvantage.
I started this one reasonably close to the front but it wasn't long before we had a major track blockage. I was amazed to emerge from it no worse off in terms of position. As is often the case with this track, very few of the AI finished so I spent the last few laps avoiding wreckage rather than actually racing.
Watching the replay, I can't be sure but I think there's a point where one matey gets rag dolled into the air.
