We caught up with the U.S. high school boys 4x100m national record squad from Humble Atascocita (TX) as they threw down a speed ladder and lactate workout ahead of the 2024 UIL championship season.
The Workout:
4xSpeed ladder
2x250m (Jelani Watkins)
1x450, 2x200m (Jordan Parker, Landon Fontenot and rest of 400m group)

48 in practice is crazy
casually split 48 and 49s in a 450 in high school

They definitely did not split 48 or 49 for 450 meters that’s sub 43 second 400 pace

@@WheeJonesmost likely sports. A lot of athletes transfer to get recognization, or even better coaching.

I think he means first year under that coaches training. The only one who transferred to Atascocita was Jelani the rest been there

Coach won’t be at HS for long… but then again HS coaches in Texas make good money..
This is there first year with good team, and if they didn’t have oh boy transfer to there school they would be ok ! 🤷🏾♂️ Dville coach need to be showed they been good the last couple years ijs
