Well there are always more boats to look at, and, as you seem to have discovered, the right one is usually out there. Our boat, Jigsaw, has been ashore since October and is now nearly ready to go at last, so I can understand some of your frustration at not being being able to play with your boat. We are leaving Ipswich around 6th of July to head towards La Rochelle. Hope that you can get moving soon.

Wow thats great that you are almost ready to go! We did see lots of boats for sale but there seems to be a lot that have been badly neglected or well over priced. Luckily the boat we bought only needs a few electrical upgrades because she's pretty much factory standard, which is good, it means nobody has fitted something badly or incorrectly. We will be heading West in just over a week. Hope you have a great sail to La Rochelle x

T.J. Mills Awww thank you. We made one costly mistake and that was the Beneteau 36cc on the lake, we paid for haul out and survey, if we'd had the knowledge we wouldn't have bothered with that boat. However it learnt us what to look for ourselves and gave us a lot more knowledge. The boys are super happy to have a cabin each 👍🏼

Been waiting to see how you are getting on and congratulations on the new boat. Lymington is an old haunt of mine, raced many boats out of there. Hope you got a good deal and can't wait to see what you have. Good idea to go bigger if you can and 40' is a great size. I'm not far away so if you need any crew to move her let me know. Thanks Andy, you did advise us a while back to look at something bigger than 36 and you was right, it helps that the boat we've gone for is beamy and feels way big enough for us. You will have to PM us with where you are, we'll be head West in just over a week's time. X

Thanks Barnie We are having to find one for almost two weeks before we start moving her up the Irish Sea.

Its a learning process & usually long & better be careful . Love joy peace wealth & abundance from Thailand . ps England has the most practical sailboats .

It's a 40ft but quite a beamy boat, so feels plenty big enough for us. Your are welcome it's been a joy to follow your journey.

How cruel 😁 At 10:14 I thought that I recognised the bow (I own the same make) but one of those at 40 feet seems out of your budget so now can’t wait. (I keep thinking of ways to ask but I’m not clever enough to keep it vague enough).
