the only SPL sub Sundown makes is the Neo-SPL. All others are musical subwoofers, especially the X, Z, and NS models.

It looked like a different surround then the mega roll v2 when you put the camera back on it on the last blast. Looked like it was the spl roll used on the u series

@@TheSimulatorSmith I have 2 of the v2 15s and 2 v2 18s he’s an idiot! I hit 159.9 on my 18s crescendo bc5500 and 154.9 on my 15s on salt 4 they take serious abuse in my daily’s. Highly suggest

So I kinda wanted to buy one of these 15's and run it in place of my Dave Leib Designs upgraded sundown x12v2's but without knowing how a single one would do (ie. Finish the damn vid Derrick) I sure do not wanna cough up that kinda money when I'm in the 50's already!!!

Can someone please explain why or what makes this sub unique? Need to know if it's worth me buying one...Thanks!

Different cone/surround and spider. The spl version will have a stiffer suspension and compliance curve.

SO I HAVE ALWAYS WONDERED WHY THERE WAS NEVER A PART 2 TO THIS AND IT DAWNED ON ME, MAYYYYBE DERRICK BLEW THE WOOFER DURING THAT LAST BURP???

Why can't you just fill the voids in the box with some scrap wood to decrease the internal volume? Obviously you'll need to attach it but it's really no different than calculating for the amount of volume you lose when you add internal bracing.

i just wanted to say the same :/ and i am looking into buying one of these in a year or so gonna save up get me a SALT 8K proper electrical and single or dual NSV4 D2 15's here in my country we only have local subs and Sundown is overall the best so i'd like to get me the best but yeah.
