Woodturning - Coffee Cup

Ойын-сауық

Welcome to this weeks woodturning video:
Woodturning - Coffee Cup
In this woodworking video I use a woodturning lathe to turn a blank made with epoxy resin and a banksia pod into a coffee cup. I feel this video falls into the ASMR and entertainment categories.
If you find these video’s a good source of entertainment, I’d appreciate you like, share and subscribe. If you love my video's, you can buy me a coffee with a 'Superthanks!'
Thanks for watching.

That's a banksia seed pod from Australia. There are many different species of banksia in Australia. Some have large pods, some small, but all are unique and beautiful. They are one of my favourite native Australian trees and the flowers are gorgeous. You can dry them for dried floral arrangements too. Some species from the Australian east coast to look up - Banksia integrifolia, B. robur, B. serrata, B. aemula and there's even the "blue" Banksia plagiocarpa.
