Woodturning - CBD Flower into a Pipe

What can I say? Woodturning a pipe actually turned out pretty cool! What makes it even better is that the entire project was coated with a food grade epoxy. On top of that, the bowl piece is insulated by the glass tube it's set in. It was intentional for the glass tube to come in contact with the raw wood only so it wouldn't heat up any epoxy.
Epoxy can definitely be tricky to work with when trying to match it up to another piece it's supposed to be glued to- this is mainly because I don't use chisels to shape the epoxy (it will sometimes chip and shatter, potentially ruining a project). I rely on sandpaper and sometimes wood files to do the shaping which can be very time consuming. With a few tricks and a lot of patience, I can evenly shave down epoxy projects to guarantee seamless fits.
Did the epoxy and CBD flower heat up while I was drilling and sanding? Absolutely. And it was very fragrant.
Disclaimer: After decades of wood working (wood turning, sculpting, building projects) I’ve developed unique techniques when putting certain tools to use. now this is a lovely use of epoxy, did you seal the inside of the wood with epoxy too or did you leave it natural? has it absorbed any odors since making it?
I really enjoyed this video. Can I ask what type of glue you used to bond the wood to the cured epoxy?
This is cool, but I think you'd get a better looking pattern out of the resin cast if the bud were already broken up. Idk if it would float too much for the look I'm thinking though.

Correct me if I’m wrong. CBD is a molecule in cannabis that comes from extracting it from the buds. The bud had THC, CBD, and CBN and maybe some more I’m forgetting. Didn’t you just use the whole bud making this just a cannabis pipe?

CBD is a molecule that comes from CBD strains of cannabis. High CBD bud has a lot of cbd, high THC bud has a lot of THC.. This is something that's determined before the seed is put in the ground. The plant could be grown healthier and produced more CBD or it could be grown less healthy and produced less CBD but the amount of CBD is more based on the strain and how healthfully it's grown.. Cbd is not something that's converted later. It's not a conversion process like CBN or CBG or CBN And it's not something at all or most cannabis anymore than THC is. CBD comes from plants that are programmed by nature to produce CBD. CBD is what that strain of flower has or does not have as that plant\strain grows, but it is a genetic thing based on the strain. It is not some later chemical process or conversion process. I buy flower from the dispensary that is high in CBD because it was grown that way because it's a high CBD strain.

I'm also a wood turner. Finally started making pipes. They sell more than anything else I've ever made. Did you have any issues with moisture between the resin and flower?
Hmm, now I know what to do with the load of hemp I picked by the side of the road this summer. A bowl for storing more hemp!

I have idea if all Bidi broken into top? Then water filter, maybe bidi meant for water filter if always will sore throat(i think the leaf cause it or chemical[someone throw then we breathe in as to promote and create a belief?]).

It's a great display piece, but start running chemicals in it to clean resin and you're gonna ruin the whole thing
