@@GilbertGardensJust pulled the trigger on mine! Between My neighbor and I, we dropped about 30 trees this past year. We're about to go to work this spring/summer and ill be using alot of the lumber for upgrading my farm and building cabins!!

Was this a telephone pole? Looks like it. That said what was distance from pith to bunk on big end and the small end? Did you then spilt the difference anf raise the small end that much? This method keep wood waste down significantly. Edit: just noticed no boots! Exposed toes! Oh No! LOL

Yes we call them hydro poles. No I should be raising it up for max cut. Most aren't so bad. I need a bunch of siding for animal structures coming up so I'm not too worried

I'm pretty sure you're meant to give it 2 1/2 turns after snug

@@GilbertGardensThose bolt on the log stop supports are used to adjust the log stop so they are 90 degrees and there's a jam nut that should be used to lock them in position. So that way when you tighten the T-handle the log stops will be at 90 degrees. The key is the jam nut to lock them in position so those bolts can't turn. Hope that helps. Happy sawing!
