    It’s not my first time drilling holes in bars but I searched hoping I would find a better way of lining up the holes properly before drilling. The electrical tape trick is cheap and genius. Thanks for sharing!

    It’s not a big difference unless you install them with the spacers in the lower position. The way we installed these does feel lower but in the pictures we took you almost can’t see the difference

    i don’t see the point, usually the point of having clipons in stead of a single bar is the fact the you can pivot them independently but this looks like it lock everything into place just like a single bar and i’m shore it pricy and you don’t have the option to rotate the bar towed or away from you like a single bar would.

    This thing i don't get is: Why someone would buy an MT-09 if they want a sportier riding position. A Street Trippel 765R/765RS will be a better overall bike for almost the same price as all the MT-09 + all the mods...

    It's a better riding position for track days. Plus it's cheaper to replace one side if you have a track incident and don't damage both. I have the ProTapers on my bike which suit me but some just like the MT with an even lower bar.

    From my point of view I want to be farther forward with the bars just to load my wrists a little more. When highway riding the stock seating position lets your chest act like a sail, I'm using my stomach, hip flexors and grip to stay on the bike. A more forward lean would make it a more neutral ride.

  • @UnburdenedByWhatHasBeen

    @UnburdenedByWhatHasBeen

    @@user-fe5bi7ul4t mt09 is definitely better for the streets. I own a mt10 and a 2018 rsv4. The rsv4 only gets use when im specifically going out to hit the back roads or im trailering it to the track for the weekend. Most 600cc aren't great for everyday riding but to me its more the seating position that kills it. My old daytona 675r had plenty of torque for the streets. The 636 and the M/V f3 also has grunt in the lower revs. Leaning over riding around town is what kills those bikes plus tall gearing which can be fixed. This is why naked bikes have became more popular over the past 10 to 15 yrs.
