I feel like the reason men are easy to train is men like to do things that make them feel useful. We’re taught at a young age that men have to be able to take care of ourselves and others, so every chance we get to lift something, open something, or do something to help out we feel like we are doing our duty as men. And the best part is being appreciated for doing stuff. That’s why men get fussy when women point out when they aren’t doing something or don’t appreciate it when a man does something

This comment is well articulated. Thank you. I've always known my husband does these things bc he loves me. The best part? I too am "trained" in much the same way. For instance, he's relaxing with a beer after work and says " That tasted like one more", I magically make it appear. A case of mutual love and respect. It's a wonderful thing!

So, I just shook my empty cup, took a deep breath, and kept eating. He asked me if I wanted more to drink, and I said “I’d love that 🥰”. Well... sadly women used to be able to train men. Women in the pass trained men with positive reinforcement. When a man does something stupid, there weren't too many consequences, but we could feel the disappointment which is sooooo much worse. And when we did something good, we were rewarded for our efforts, even if it wasn't perfect. Now..... A lot of women function purely off of negative reinforcement. They nag if you get something wrong, and nit-pick if you do it, but not perfectly. Oh and they threaten you by calling you "Sexist", or complain that you "Mansplain" or "Manspread" or "Man-" in order to belittle your existence and beat your soul down until you're a shell of your former self. Fun Fun Fun.
