When I was young, purple was my favourite colour and it still is. There is nothing wrong with people liking things that are usually associated with the opposite gender, but wanting to change a four year olds body physically is just messed up.

i wore boy clothes and hated makeup, didn’t brush my hair, loved going in muck boots in the pond and catch frogs. I still love all that but i love being a female, i love makeup but i also have a huge interest in reptiles etc. Like if my parents pushed on me wearing boy clothes that i want to be a boy, i’d feel bad if i didn’t be the “boy” they are acting like they wanted. They are treating him like they want him to be a girl and they will be disappointed if he doesn’t transition

The unfortunate boy's mother is an "ideologically possessed" lunatic seeking validation from her ideological fellow travellers and she is willing to extract it at the cost of her own son's welfare, a barely few years old boy at that. She is playing a dangerous game with him as her pawn; a game that has a huge potential for disastrous consequences. If she is not stopped, her antics can possibly ruin his life ahead. It is so tragic because without her sick twisted despicable behaviour; disgusting obsession and criminal experiments - her boy can have a normal childhood and therefore most likely to grow up into a healthy and happy adult. Safe to say that sans his mother's harmful interventions, instead raised by his grandparents with healthy influence of his caring uncle thrown in it has all the potential to blossom into a productive and satisfying life. But she is hellbent on not letting that happen.

Yeah, stereotypes are so annoying. There can be a feminine male that is straight, or gay. There can be a masculine male that is gay, or straight. James is not old enough to understand the impact that this decision would have. He could come to regret this in the near future. Once we stop associating specific interests with gender identity, we can move on. That's the whole issue here. I can say for myself that I hated girlie things growing up, that's doesn't mean I wasn't born a girl and don't identify as female. We just have to let things take their course and allow people decide for themselves how they want to represent who they are. We need to stop labeling everything because it really doesn't matter in the end.

there’s a difference between actually being transgender and having interest in what society deems the norm for the opposite gender. i am a full supporter of transgender people, and i think it’s great that parents are letting their kids express things like this. however, this child is very young and i don’t think they truly understand the concept of gender. gender is much more than colors and toys, and i don’t think these parents should be having their child transition. a better approach is to let the child dress the way they want, play with whatever toys they want, etc. without putting any sort of label on it. i get the parents are trying to be supportive, but i think it’s too early to have a child transition.

If a person has the mental and emotional maturity to make a reasoned and independent decision about their sexuality, then that should be respected. However, how on earth can this shallow woman and her husband be qualified to assess the sexual orientation needs of such a young child? If I recall, correctly the outcome data on early transitioning children is not good. I am what one might describe as having a 'liberal' outlook, but that doesn't mean I fall prey to all the trendy social agendas that seem to circulate on a weekly basis. I instead apply common sense and critical thinking to my decision making, unlike this couple, who I fear have fallen prey to SJW wokeness and virtue signalling. I hope the child makes it out safely.

You know, it's one thing, personally at almost 24, contemplating whether to transition, but THIS is SO far beyond WRONG at 4 years old. I cannot stand the fact that this is now a reality, where kids become coaxed just because they like doing different things of the opposite gender at such a young age, but, forcing a kid just to please someone, or to flat-out do it to fit into society, if I remember it right, that is a felony....and the fact that now, groomers are being allowed to get away with pedophilia, is absolutely sickening....

Poor child! So much turmoil over this! As part of the lgbtq community I believe this woman might be pushing this agenda on her child. The child HAS TO ASK FOR IT and be in distress about not being the opposite gender. Playing dress up is not an indicator of anything and I give her points for allowing the child to choose to dress up. I imagine this child must be so confused with the family fighting back and forth.

It's so simple of a solution to me, it's rude to comment or opine out loud about another person's appearance unless you are asked. Most people do not ask beyond "do I look ok in this?" or "do I have anything in my teeth?". It's also unhealthy to obsess over other people's outward appearance. Instead of having any opinion at all about how someone present themselves physically, why not either train yourself not to worry about it, or, at least not say anything out loud about it. It's so obvious to me, what is so hard about this for some folks? This goes for someone's skin, their clothing, hair, physical attributes and abilities as well. It's the low road to make that your concern and be vocal about. Any time someone who is different than you brings you into the conversation about themselves, your answer should be "How interesting, do you want to tell me about it?". And then shut the heck up and listen. You don't have to have your own opinion about someone else's being who they are physically.

I use to have such a high regard for Dr.Phil from season 16 and down. I literally thought he could do no wrong. I definitely never thought he would become a sell out. Things change and Dr.Phil has become as left and liberal as possible. He now stands for abortion 100% and has no issue with this HUGE trans and gay movement on our children. He actually stands for it now. What I think it comes down to is him fearing cancel culture and realizing he’d be off air in one episode if he took a position of logic.
