There's a doco on YT abt a love scammer called Casanova Conman. Two survivors of his abuse meet, bond first through their shared experience and then through personal commonalities, and become supportive best friends. It's gorgeous. That's what I'd love to see come out of situations like this. It's complex and painful and horrible, and each of these women have the desire, need, and right to own and express their feelings. But imagine how magical it would be if the wife could show compassion for the teenager. If the teenager could muster the humility to be grateful for her forgiveness and counsel. If they could find friendship, love, and acceptance in one another and leave him in the dust.

I dont believe that's the case. I think anyone can change their behaviors if they truly want to. To say someone can never change.. that's a bit much. I am proof that someone can change. I'll admit it. Judge me if you want but I am not who I was before. I could never cheat on the person I am with now . My ex laughed at me when he found out about it. Technically it was cheating but our relationship was basically already over when it happened. I'm just saying, there's some scum out there who repeatedly do this behavior and don't care how they hurt people at all and some it may happen to them and they never had those intentions to hurt. But ultimately was for selfish reasons.

Well maybe the wife was just in emotional shock? Since she might've really loved the guy and was just lost that this man just ruined her life, self-esteem and children's lives. Some people don't know how to act in situations and would handle it emotionally, which is the bad thing, but the reason why they're handling it emotionally is because it leaves a wound that pains them. She genuinely seems like a great mom and just wanted to let her emotions loose for a while. Maybe not the best to put it in a show, but it's her choice I guess

She's not going to leave him. She'll stay and be miserable, which is a shame. Can't even see that her husband is the problem, not the 18 year old. Sad.

Satanssidebxtch ! Some people do.. Sure there are times when it’s just crazy to work it out, like if my husband slept with an 18 year old, I’d be too disgusted. But a marriage with kids involved isn’t something you HAVE to throw away because of cheating, unless there’s no way you can work it out. But it’s also not someone else’s place to judge another couples relationship. I agree this particular woman needs to run far away from that man, but you can’t put all cheaters in the same basket. I personally find kissing another woman cheating, so if my husband had a momentary slip and kisses a woman for literally 5 seconds and realizes he’s messing up, I should just throw it away..?

I was 17 dating a 24 year old ex convict with a child. Supposively not with the baby mama. At the time it didn't go through my little immature head what I was doing. Thank God that within a month of dating I realized things. I'm disgusted to this day.
