They are technically reversible, hormone blockers only work during treatment, they do not alter the body's ability to produce hormones hence the word "blockers", if you stop treatment the hormones continue produce as normal, as far as I know there are no permanent ones

Some people don't like thinking and with time their brain deteriorates from a lack of brain exercise or disease and they become easily influenced by perverse groups such as "just stop oil" or other corporation backed propaganda pushing initiatives. Grandma has her values mixer up

ahhhh the fathers are just as bad. The clip of the two kids, exact replica of my nieces and their father live in the home. Too busy watching TV or going to the pub to give a rats arse his kids are pricks. Family events with them are so much of a nightmare, I have removed myself from most, because you end up getting bullied by the 12 year old. Kicking screaming in your face, punching, biting the works. Parents just sit there and allow it. If I stand up and tell the kids off, asked to leave and not come back until I can be less 'reactive'. The lack of accountability on my sister and her husbands' part is incredible.

I was working in childcare until recently and now that I've left I've realized that the lack of punishment is actually causing the kids to believe they can do whatever they want. They don't want the activities and toys we offer so saying we won't provide the toys if you misbehave won't make them start listening and understanding consequence. And we disguise it as "they give consent" when consent isn't even achievable until they become adults. That's the point we as responsible adults determine consent when they do not understand. Dont' give this "they must consent to a nappy change" bs... come on man they obviously don't want to be in pain they just don't know how to avoid it. Adults should know what's best for them. So she is refusing to be a carer for them. That's a form of abuse as you are denying them an important form of education but we just allow it because it conflicts with the values of not hurting children physically or emotionally. They need that...

Anyway, realigning behavior in a different way when words do not work anymore, and lets stop pretending that restricting access to stuff work when we all know it really doesn't, isn't a bad choice. Our parents, grand-parents and even earlier generations than theirs had that, probably more as a venting mechanism than an educational tool, and they turned out perfectly fine. Its a matter of escalating reciprocity. If they do not want to obey through words alone, other methods have to be used. And if they have "spoiled brat" behavior, restricting access to items and other things only makes them behave even worse once the restrictive period is over, and parents will consecutively lose respect from their children. A good old-school education realignment is impartial in all aspects, and has no restrictive periods for them to "endure". Only pain and understanding that such pain is a consequence of their bad behavior. I'm obviously still referring to doing it as an educational tool, not as a venting mechanism. No healthy child would misbehave in such a flagrant manner if parents didn't self-impose "red lines" when they're educating their children. But, as parents, its their ultimate decision on how to educate their children. I simply won't have any "red lines" when educating my children. Sure, they may cry loudly for a few minutes, but I'm pretty sure all of that (whatever that is) will dissipate within that time period... And the next time they try to misbehave, they'll think twice before doing it and, if they reach the same end result, they'll repeat the process again and again, until they decide to not misbehave. At that moment, they get rewarded for their good choice. Children are a blank slate. If they are not corrected, at the right time and for the right reason when they write senseless BS in their blank slate, they turn out wrong... That's why we have a divided society to begin with, in which a small minority of the western society think they own the majority and that society rules do not apply to them... Like that guy in that Disney clip.

I'm Finnish and in my language they're the same word, there's no differentiation. It would translate as 'family half', meaning there's only two total. That argument doesn't fly here, which I think has prevented a lot of insanity.
