The Codes of Chivalry are basically a set of instructions approved by the king for how knights and lords are allowed to rule their castle 200 miles away from the king. Unconditional love does NOT mean you don't have boundaries. You can still love and care about someone even if you don't agree with their lifestyle and can no longer be around them. (the woman in the clip clearly doesn't have that though)

That's on those men then. Unconditional love is for silly romance novels, all other relationships (yes, all of them) can only flourish when they're maintained, cherished and have conditions for everyone's self-preservation. Being a simp (male or female), a doormat or a pushover is NOT a good thing. Not even towards your parents or children. Love is just an emotion and therefore easily corrupted so people really need to stop being so naive. Love, romantic, platonic or family is not the holy grail that has no flaws.

Son of a single father, the love of a mother is overrated. Too many people romanticize mothers as people who love you unconditionally, when most of the time they are just people, some do in fact love you that way, and others don't. My father had this love for me to the point of raising me alone, my mother ditched our family to pursue her career, and also cheated on my dad, so you get the point...mom are humans, they are subject to the same mistakes everyone else is.

I think people can love unconditionally but not like the person's behaviour and have to remove them from their life. An example would be. My group of friends. We had grown up together. One of the guys got in to heroin and when he got clean off the heroin he would turn to booze. It was a vicious cycle. His behaviour was too destructive and eventually we all, including his family had to cut him out of our lives because of the damage he was doing. We never stopped loving him and wanting to see him do better though.

Girls always let you know if they like you which is most girls when you are attractive. If you have to muster up courage to ask her out then she isn't sending you vibes that she interested.
