Including: 1) The standards of entry into university have dropped dramatically over the past few decades. If any idiot can get into university, any idiot will. And filling an idiots head with knowledge doesn't make them smart, they're simply not equipped to process the information, therefore they misunderstand and misrepresent it. 2) The ivory tower is real. Many university staff leave high school, go to university, then get a job at a university, then remain in this system forever. They're divorced from the real world. 3) The humanities and 'soft' sciences are, well, soft. Not evidence based. Opinions and feelings based. This is the epicentre of this anti-intellectual intellectualism.

My beloved Mother loved watching that show, sadly I lost her just before Thanksgiving in 2022 after being her caretaker the last 4 yrs of her life. I ended up in the hospital from my own health faltering as the stress became too much, still I thank Father God for the privilege of being there for her when she needed me most. There is no and has never been a genocide committed by Israel. The population in the Gaza (and the WB) has roughly doubled since the 90s (and not because of significant migration, since no one wants to live under Hamas rulership). That would be the most incompetent genocide in human history. Israel is not exactly known for their incompetence.

Exactly. They don't know what a genocide is, and it's disrespectful to real victims to call it a genocide. Genocide is about destruction of culture, and killing the people and taking their home, so what Hamas and others want to do to Israel. It's also a decision, something you do activly. Even if there would be a way higher amount of dead civilians, it wouldn't be a genocide. Israel warns the civilians, tries to evacuate them, drops fake bombs because they drop real bombs, so civilians leave. Hamas keeps them as shields. Israel goes in with ground troops, which is very risky, instead of just bombing the area with drones, like most other nations would do. If Israel wanted to, they could kill all people in Gaza within weeks, even if they hide. There are 2 million people in the Gaza strip, it's 365 km² or 140 squaremiles. So the population is as dense as in London, but the Gaza strip has big, empty areas. 600k in Gaza City with 45 km². It's dense like the Bronx in NYC. 180k in Jabalia City 4 km from Gaza City, and it's just 1.4 km². It's so tiny, because most of it is a refugee camp. They are fighting for over 1/2 a year now. If they would fight, like f.e. Russia in Mariupol or Chechnya, there would be nearly a million civilians dead now, and Russia just fought recklessly. So imo the numbers show, Israel tries it's hardest to not harm civilians, and it's sad, that tens of thousands died the last 7 months, but Israel clearly tries it's best, Hamas is to blame for the dead civilians, and most other armies would cause multiple times the casualties, and even then, it wouldn't be a genocide.

Imagine you’re just hiking thru the woods and come across a dozen women in full force scream therapy. My worst fear would be them seeing me. I assume I would need to run for my life.

My maternal grandfather was an Antiochian Orthodox Christian who left Lebanon right before WWII. Because of that, I have no love lost for either Israelis or Palestinians LOL! The Israelis used the Lebanese Christians for their own purposes and the Palestinians caused a Civil War in Lebanon via Arafat (who was Egyptian with a heavy Egyptian accent), which destabilized the country and allowed Iranian factions such as Hezb'allah to gain foothold. That said, I'd be foolish to not mention that no Arab country wants the Palestinians. None of them. Period. They have a homeland: Jordan. The Jordanians won't allow them. Egypt won't allow them. No one will allow them and there are reasons for that.
