I have had the privilege of working with many Filipino's.. Never met a Filipino who was even remotely woke.

A working kid who gets a visa to work a minimum wage job during the summer (water parks, Disney, Universal, etc.) has to leave the country immediately if they get fired. She should have had to leave the US within the same few days as kids who work and get fired.

I presently live in the Philippines. The wealth gap here is crazy huge compared to the United States. I see homeless children asleep on the sidewalks all the time. This young woman in this story is very forunate and should not have ANY complaints about her life.

Back a quite a few years ago, three teenagers from London ran away to the middle East to support the terrorists. I remember one of them got killed in a bombing, one disappeared for awhile and one changed her mind and tried to come back. After a lengthy court battle, she lost her British citizenship permanently and is banned from the country. I believe she now lives in a Syrian refugee camp. This story warms my cold dead black heart.

@@romeocordero8268 Philippine people are funny that way. She, being well off, did the stunt for attention. Class does pay a big part of it. Being from money, she knows she does not have to work very hard, and things will be handed to her. Hopefully her parents are down to earth enough to punish her and correct her behavior. Wealth is hard to hold onto. Some of the wealthiest people in the world work extremely hard.

Families from the the Philippines, are very honorable and straight forward, regardless of financial well being. There is no "Victimhood" or being politically correct. If you are wondering who the Filipinos are, just go to any hospital. Filipinos are famous for being pharmacists, doctor, physical therapists, nurses...etc. She has no idea what is coming to her. I would not be surprised if her family does cut her off and she really becomes homeless.

The Philippines is no different from other third world county where there is a lot of corruption from people who are in politics. Hell, we have senators who have been jailed for corruption, living in a hotel like prison, have done their time, run for office, and now back being a senator. I am Filipino, I have lived through the Marcos and Aquino administration. Nothing has changed, and this is shameful.

a fellow Filipino here who share your sentiments my friend. .a civilian who is like middle class or below would be in a lot of trouble getting clearances and government papers even if you have no prior police records. .but in politics, we now have convicted criminals who served jail time sitting on the upper house of legislation. .really shameful. .and i blame every Filipino who voted for them. .may God save us all. .

I'm a Filipina and I could not take the snide remarks of some of those who commented about us. We are a country who has loved Israel and as a matter of fact we can travel to Israel without even having a visa. That Filipina girl who claimed to be rich and has participated in anti Israel protest I believed has been schooled in the US and this a reflection of the product of how they have been indoctrinated in this schools with a different ideology. Rich girl become poor perhaps because the parents did not condone this kind of behavior.

Millions of poor Filipino living in terrible condition, they're suffering everyday, she could've done something to help her own people.

Gutfeld is right from a certain point of view. I'm from the Philippines her family is indeed both loaded and inflluencial. She's in SO Much trouble when she gets home. Some of us that can afford to send kids to the US for education make it a point of pride. what she did was SHAME the ENTIRE Atienza family.
