This. This is how you know these people are not serious. Take Jews in WW2. THEY were in legit dire situations. THEY were facing real evil. They did not have time to go to comedy shows and vacations to go talk about how serious things were for them in Germany. Cause they were actually going through it in real time. The heckler picked the wrong time to talk politics. However the ignorance and foolishness of the masses is extraordinary in this conflict. For instance are you aware the IDF killed three hostages who were waving white flags. Aren't they supposed to be saving them and not killing them. How about the IDF sniper who killed 2 Christian women in a Christian church wounding 7 others. You see the IDF is no different than Hamas. The man is on stage turning what could have been a heckler into part of the act. I laughed out loud at work to this, beautiful. Now my co workers think I'm a little crazy.

That was the most decent show of respect, compassion and understanding I've seen a comedian give to a heckler. Well done sir. Well done.

This comedian must either have a child or is destined to be a father, because he handled that adult-child perfectly

This guy is a professional. He confronted the guy made his point and then won over the crowd. And at the end he even gave the heckler a bit of an out by making a joke at the comedians own expense. This was the best way to diffuse this situation while showing how intelligent he is and while also continuing to makes jokes. He masterfully dismantled the other guys argument, while also ending the confrontation with a punchline. Love it.

This is one of the most cool-headed, reasonable, and empathetic yet firm responses I've ever heard. Applause to you.

Franz is a blithering idiot. Misinformed idiots feel preach far too often, sadly (and other idiots listen). Far too few people actually listen, now. Something else we need to improve upon as a whole.

This guy was great. He's very clever and he was very polite and understanding to the person who interrupted his show.

Alright, the ending of that clip was just perfect. That was a comedy gift from the gods. Well played.

You were perfect. You also didn't invite a dog pile. And in fact discouraged it. You supported the other person and trying to get him to laugh. And you were successful. You did everything perfectly

That improved punchline at the end was perfect and helped make the whole comedy disruption more worthwhile. Props to this comedian. I don't think he could have handled this any better than he did.

That's funny how he cares about his dying Palestinian friends so much that he has just gone to a Israeli's Comedy show and actually carrying out the programme... His dying friends may survive now...

Wow, Shahak, that was a masterclass on how to respectfully handle a heckler bringing up an explosive political issue. I love how you listened to him so respectfully and made it clear to him that you want him to have a good time. He tried to change the vibe of the whole show but you kept it light and fun. I'm not sure if I could remain so poised. Just a great job of holding the frame and being socially aware.

This is rare that a comedian will be heckled and not end with "shut the fk up!" Or some horrible insult. Shahak has got class!

You handled that much better than I would’ve. Franz is a few sandwich’s short of a full picnic and has much too much to say in the wrong place, at the wrong time.

That final transition back to Franz was absolutely beautiful

Hat's off to to that man, the comedian, for keeping his cool under fire and calming what could have been an explosive mix. He is an inspiration to me, at least. Thankyou for posting.

I have never heard of this comedian but the way he handled this heckler with such grace is truly an art form… anyone can just rip into a heckler and belittle them with the crowd on your side but what this comedian did is truly special. Awesome to watch.

I am late to the game but that was the most amazingly polite, respectful yet not conceding an inch way of dealing with a heckler, and that incredible deflect from the uncomfortable ‘dating app’ talk back to Franz, that was just gold. Well done! I think I need to see more of your stuff. Thank you! 👍

Amazing how you managed to put someone in their place without even going anywhere near stopping down to their level.

You did such a good job in that really really flammable situation, I don't really have a right to, but I'm proud of you. Also, while many comedians have something slightly evil about their humor - you're the other way around, you have a kind, pleasant, and warm vibe.
