I'm buggered if I can understand how anyone can say it's fair. I'm a former female sportswoman and I did play in a netball competition that permitted a transgender male to play in a women's competition. I did not know this at the time but I said to my teammates after playing that game "why is Francine playing in this outer suburbs competition"? "She is so good" I said "she should be playing for the Australian team". "Oh wake up" I was told "Francine is a bloke". We didn't use the term transgender back then in the 80s. So I have experienced first hand how unfair it is for female athletes having to compete against biological males.

People who threaten to take their lives never do it. Its the ones that are silent who carry out this sad process

It is absolutely insane that women can be so complicit in their own insignificance leaving it to men to save them from themselves. To Piers and Zuby thanks for speaking up for us.

Yep, that's how I feel lately, I have no issues with LGBTQI people, my siblings are in that group, but I'm not a cis woman, I'm a woman, and I do not support Trams women in sport, these biological men are just taking the piss and taking everything women have fought for, every achievement, everyone, can now just be squashed by a man who wasn't good enough in the men's category but can destroy women's, we are not physically equal and never will be, that's why there's a Men's category and a women's category and if these trans women had any respect for women they wouldn't do it, they are just mysoginistic and narcissistic men who don't give a toss about women or women's rights. Stop making fun of women and taking the piss out of us, we are literally treated just as bad by them now as we were before the suffragettes

Wow. This has opened up a whole new world for me. As a 50 something, I now have been given hope that I can one day become an Olympian. All it takes is for me to identify as disabled and I can enter the Para Olympics.

Why don't these events just create to more participation categories? Male to female transgender and female to male transgender. Wouldn't that solve the problem?

"Just a fun run." As someone who used to run races (5k, 10k, and 1/2 marathons), even though I wasn't competitive enough to win anything, I always trained hard for these races and my final place in the race was always important to me - especially how I placed in my age group. Any time a biological man competes in a "fun run" he takes a placement away from many women like myself.

I had a female friend who completed in the London marathon. I'd ask people who support trans women in women's sports why they think it is that the military has different fitness standards for men and women. No bias there, just testing people's fitness for war, and there's still two different standards. I wonder why.

The responsibility lies with womenfolk for exposing their adornments until men slipped and had enough of her and wanted something else. If their adornments were covered then she'd be unrare to him and something for him to seek. And once he sees and tastes her for the first time, she would've gotten her interests like love and a family man. But when her adornments became unrare due to uncovering her then some men saw her as meat while others had enough of her until this emerged.

The "legally become a male" annoys me. If I got a certificate which said I'm a frog, it wouldn't change the fact I'm a man, not a frog.
