If my date is late I wait 10-15 min and call/ text where are you? Then 5-10 min later text (not wasting a call) that I’m heading home. The only reason I give the extra 5 min is if I know traffic is bad. If on that rare occasion they had a valid excuse then it would be ‘I’m going to be at this location at this time. If you join me fine’. No text ‘where are you?’ Or anything. Waiting an hour let alone 3 hours is desperation. And that’s why he was stood up twice.

In those two weeks I had more women approach me in the entire year prior. The second stage of this experiment was to sneakily let slip that I was single, not actually married and see how they reacted. Half immediately stopped talking to me and by the end of the second week none talked to me.
