In this video, ill show you the upgraded the rear hubs to aluminium and a Surpass Platinum 2845 5000kv motor, which we snagged from AliExpress for just £10 - what a bargain! Honestly buddy I'm getting addicted to these smaller scale cars for sure . So much fun and easy to run anywhere. Got loads of upgrades planned for it also .
You know an RC remote is like a hand mic for a CB the more power you put out the faster it gets to everybody

These cars normally tend to ship with a 45amp ESC. I've ran mine on 3s no issues (mine was 124017 model). Just watch out on long grass as can overheat the motor.

The 144010 comes with a 60amp esc buddy don't they ? . That's plenty for the 5000kv motor I installed as I only plan on running it on 2s that's more than enough for bashing . The grass I tend to run in is normally short or just a touch longer if I do , so should be fine . The older 144001 came with a brushed 45amp esc . So far this is holding up great . @@bradburybadboi what you thinking of doing buddy to it. My Typhon started as a Vorteks boost. Now basically added everything I needed to make it a BLX . Awesome cars

hi chris yet another epic video and great upgrades and i think you should take it to the next level with the other esc and motor but it would be interesting to see what speed its doing on the 2s system then do a speed run with the 3s conversion. hope you are all well take care buddy and look forward to the next video. peter p.s. its my birthday today but no rc stuff

Well I was thinking about it , but to be honest I love this little motor so much fun and high revving . Got loads of upgrades planned for it now .

Nah definitely tea then milk my good sir 😜. Yeah it's quick isn't it buddy on 2s for sure , I think when I get some EMB - T wheels on also that will really kick it up a notch . Not sure though about the 3s run lol 🤣. But honestly thank you very much indeed for the receiver and transmitter bud , it's sorted the throttle issues I was having out massively , so much better to drive now . Do you have a link for the motor and ESC combo you added? Was it Ali express?

Hey buddy , Hope your well , So the 60amp Esc i use is the one that came with the car from the factory so your good there if you have the 144010 as for the Motor ! Running really well, is that using the stock 27t pinion.

Hey buddy , Thanks for watching once again , no actually the gearing changed from the 144001 to the 144010 On the 144001 the gearing on the pinion is 27t using a 540 sized motor But on the 144010 its a 19t pinion using a brushless 28 sized motor . Definitely gives it hell of a lot more punch and no cogging at all . Hope that your well Chris :)

@@ChriswithaCrc Yes i also have the 19t pinion, the first brushless versions came with the 27t pinion & 2845 - 3400kv motor. They bogged like crazy along with the delay on the radio, the later version came with the 19t pinion & 4300kv motor stock which cured the bogging. But still had the delay with the stock radio.

@@ChriswithaCrc Yes it was the 124017 v1 that came with the set up i discribed that cogged like crazy, once they changed to the 19t pinion & upped the kv to 4300kv on the v2 version all was good re cogging. Apart from the slight delay on the radio.

@@gillian9178 100% change the transmitter and receiver buddy , it makes a massive difference to the driving experience. i might get the 124017 soon or even a 1/10th scale . i got to say i love these little cars and upgrading them . Very addictive Stay safe buddy Chris
