Hi Chris, i have bought a synchro 4 a couple of months ago, still stock now and loving it! Now I am planning to race it, not with the pro's just for fun. What upgrades would you recommend? Thanks, greetings from Belgium!
I think the k6s esc can go as well . Flashing green light means overheated and I’m not sure of someone said the caps popped ? Are those the wrapped things on the wire? Still has steering and fans , no start up sequence which comes from the motor I believe . I did order the necessities from Jenny’s and keeping my fingers crossed . Maybe it’s the motor or esc ? Has a a new servo . Electronic issues are the worst imo .
My k6s esc got too hot and started flashing green . Still had fans on esc and motor , still had steering . It’s like 4 months old , I didn’t think it was too hot . Could be the motor since it doesn’t do the starting sequence either . Either way I don’t think horizon is going to help me . Gotta have that receipt ! Totally lost it . Maybe they’ll help

I am actually having this problem with my kraton blx 6s ,full lipos and it's going into low power mode after a minute then I turn it off an on and it works again. It's really annoying , I'm sticking to team corally from now on , Arrma aren't that great
Good video pal! Coming to the conclusion sometimes “less is more”. Bare minimum for acceptable performance. You almost need to buy a rig twice. First one for testing. Second one for final build. #PONTYPANDYFEST #TRAXXAS
Hey bud , yeah I’m thinking the same less is more ! I’m literally going to run the new truck stock till I need parts then look at what’s acceptable to upgrade . As for 6s armma in my opinion the sweet spot is most definitely the smaller wheeled trucks 🛻. As you say most the time two trucks is what you need . AJJAMStudios says that the RPM arms fixed the issues of the dog bones popping out. You might want to try that out unless you already have the RPM arms on it.

Sucks to hear you having these issues with your exb. I got my exb last week. I haven't ran it yet. Gonna run it today. Only upgrade on it at the moment is the v2 RPM wing mount and wheelie bar combo and NHX flip up body cage. I have the RPM arms on the way.
10min into my first run I broke the front diff cup 🤦♂️ I'm gonna upgrade them to the Vitavon instead of going back to stock, hopefully the RPM arms paired with the Vitavon drive cups takes care of that week point for me.🤞
Would it make sense to put thread lock on the axles?
There was threadlock on them bud and left to set and cure unfortunately the design is what lets them down in my opinion. Stay awesome Chris 🤙👍🤘🚀

I gotta wonder if the mods weren't actually improvements. Sometimes the engineers who designed it know what they're doing. Ordinarily the only mods i make are if i break something I'll replace it with an upgraded part if available. Even then I've started myself down a rabbit hole of finding the next weakest link that wouldn't have ever been a problem if I'd left the previous part alone. It's either that or you just got a truck built on Friday afternoon before a long weekend. The trucks been out long enough that others have gotten it sorted out and properly built up. The K6 exb is one of the few larger Arrma's i don't personally have so I've got nothing for real advice to offer.
Well ill be honest with you , Ive felt the same . Ive seen so many people having so much fun with there EXBs and there BOX stock but no issues and mines been built tanky and keeps throwing issues. Chris :)
How do these compare against Team Corallys?
Ill be honest this is my favourite over the kagama i love the SSTE ! but i will say ive spent alot of time and effort upgrading it to get it this way . Out of the box the kagama is better . Stay awesome Chris

Sorry to hear the woes of the exb continues with v2 . . Rear upper hinge mount battery tray diffs/cases arms and center bash cage . Figured it would be quicker to state the stock parts . Much studied . More learned . It really bums me out that what the kraton is meant to be and the application are so misaligned. All that being said i screamed this truck off a 37ft roof of a commercial building and landed on pavement and only thing happened was i lost a body pin *still lookin for it tho 😂. Its gorgeous and effin bulletproof but the cost of admission, the path to Shangri La, feels less than reasonable . .

I think the arrmas in general are great up to the 4s then above that an Xmaxx is the better choice for big scale. IMO

It's either a Horizon QA issue or a modification/upgrade issue. This is why I do not apply upgrades in the areas of wheels, or steering, the added weight will negatively alter Arrma's engineering. I have cartwheeled, flipped, and jumped this thing, and no drive train issues, no nothing actually. Even heavier belted wheels and tires can result in drive shafts coming out, and extra wear and tear on diffs and gears. In my opinion, the only worthy upgrades for high-speed bashers include: Chassis, shock towers, shock tower stand-offs, and chassis support braces. These upgrades add weight but are not attached to the drive train or steering. I believe you will figure out the right combination of upgrades, this K8 V2 became my favorite RC of all time.
Shame, but we knew something was up from the last vid. Bars&Tone has a cursed Kraton (xl) but i think he cursed it himself via a brick wall...! Also want to echo what @dannypippin396 said. Calling things as they are is so important! Keep it up!!

Thanks very much I do try to be as honest as I can and call things from my own point of view and not from the masses or influenced shall we say . So many channels say this truck blah blah is the best truck ever strong tough fast ! But when they end users get hold of them there let down . I mean it’s not as if I haven’t pour upgrades in to this I understand if I was sending it to the moon but around a car park 🅿️ is not excepted in my opinion! Maybe that is the difference with mine I have the blx version and its been good to me. Hate to see you having so many problems with it. I know your a little burned on Arrma if you do sell it you might consider the Big Rock its the same 6s platform but is a blast for ground running you drift the crap out of it

This hobby can be brutal at times taking breakages is easier when you do something stupid or when you can see & point to reason for the break, but if the thing wont even stay together for light running in a carpark I feel your pain. Exb aint a cheap toy to begin with never mind the upgrades youve thrown at it, some just have bad luck with certain rigs but sometimes gotta know when to call it quits, id be getting rid of it too if was in your shoes. An easy fix would be take that body and put it on the kagama , sry only jessing

They are splined so it can only be the thread lock let go probably not cured long enough or wrong one too mild.
@@gboulter was left for two days buddy and used blue loctite so quite Honestly this should not have happened regardless, the design of the screws that go in the inner hex are not up to the job .
Wow… that truck just won’t quit!! I have those exact CVD’s on my notorious that I jump over my garage and I haven’t broke one yet… I will say that I can see where my pins look like they might fly out at any second… like they need some sort of shim to keep them in. The stub axle is sliding in and out and I can see that one of my pins are close to flying out… I’m emailing Arther. As much as these cost(I paid for mine😳) this shouldn’t even be an issue!! I hope you say something to him as well
@@RC-Closer1313 hey man yeah I’ve tried to speak to vitavon on the matter and got a bit of a generic response to be quite honest with you . The problem is the screws and splines shaft design is wasn’t broken in the first place ! Stay awesome buddy Chris 🤙🤘🚀👍
@@ChriswithaCrc I hope M2C gets to making all the parts that Vitavon makes… I would most definitely buy from them!! If you have an issue with something you bought from M2C they will replace it, upgrade it, or refund your money with no problem at all!!

I put Vitavon CVD’s hub carriers and knuckles and diff housings all around my Notorious with a TP motor and a monster 8x esc as well as a bunch of other upgrades… but anyway… no more dog bones lost👍🏻

Ouch that was another tough one my friend. I wonder if wheels of the limitless would fit 🤔 When I got my Typhon did the review I ran it on 6s and wow it was shooting rooster tails from on end of this dirt lot to the next it was wild! Like you I usually keep this to 4s and mine is stock non tlr version.
Concrete curbs and trees are undefeated. I DO NOT rip near either, doesn't matter how well of a driver you are, the longer you're there being memorized by the speed, the more you're bound to curb-stomp your RC.
Did more damage than I was expecting as it didn’t look that fast. As if you bent my hinge pins ha ha. I always knew they would bend was just expecting them to survive extreme bashing, not bashing into a concrete kerb 😂😂😂 Did you even record any speeds??
