After almost 200 hrs playing The Witcher 3, and currently on my 2nd playthrough, I realize how terrible the game is. I'm going to keep playing just to make sure I still hate it.

they are technically not lies but they're practically not that bad. and the fall damage has been fixed plus Roach can actually jump over obstacles. So Roach getting stuck on pebbles is actually the gamer's fault. 🤣

Once a year I have to replay this game just to make sure I don't forget how god awful it is. Especially the DLCs. Pure garbage.

@@guts4300because it is a game that sets the standard for what other games should be held up to. Yes it’s buggy and some stuff may not work at times. It is by no means a PERFECT game but it manages to capture something that a lot of games try to capture but fail (destiny for ex.) which is capture the lore AND the gameplay + story building at the same time. Only games Like god of war manage to do that cause mixing long azz lore in a short game and keeping it interesting is hard. Also you get 2 full separate games and one has like a whole race of higher vampires all for like 15 bucks. It’s by no means a perfect game but it’s a game that keeps you interested in its world long after you’re done playing it. Seriously I looked into all the lore of all the monsters after killing them cause some of them are genuinely terrifying like the leshen. It’s not a perfect game but game developers who want to make an interesting world should definitely take notes from this game

Imagine Witcher 3 with Red Dead Redemption 2 physics, would be the best game ever.

What scares me most is all your arguments make perfect sense. It's kind of terrifying how this video can manipulate someone who never played the game into admitting how bad they're told it supposedly is.

I know this is the April Fool's video, but I 100% agree with what you said about all the crafting diagrams. I collect everything as I go and the non-witcher items only serve to clog up the crafting menus. I have never crafted a single one of those things and wish you could hide them.

I think keeping Witcher 3 main story long is absolutely a good idea giving each character and story emotional depth. Also it is a story based game. It is based on a novel not just children story books. If they rushed it they will ruin the story

This is April fools joke but for those that actually think the game is overrated , you have to understand no game is “perfect” gameplay wise or storytelling wise . But the fact that tw3 allows so many people to be immersed in the story, gameplay, and world is what makes it a masterpiece . I literally felt like I wanted to live inside the Witcher world when I was 15 playing this game the first time .

Maybe try to enjoy the scenery, the jokes, the drama, the action. if you like medival and mythological themed games then it shouldnt be a problem. Maybe try to actually learn the game and its lore instead of just playing the game superficially. Make yourself enjoy the idea of a mutant knight who has superhuman abilities that roam the continent alone with two badass swords, killing monsters. you are also playing as a detective sorta. Your every action and choices of words will have a drastic change of the outcome of the game. there is so much more to this game than just it beinhg another open world game.

THANK GOD!! I was thinking.. "Whats goin' on ???!!!!". Somehow it hurt my feelings... All this years, and the videos we spent... And still I am watching XLetalis-Videos... This game is just a timeless masterpiece with it's simplicity in some matters, but it's overall-doing for a big audience is just brilliant. Thanks XLetalis for still reporting... 👍👍👍

I played the witcher 3 for the first time this year and gave up after 40 hours. It took me until the end to realize this was an april fools video because I was actually agreeing with all of his points 💀

The date aside, the combat is... irritating at times, many times. If you don't overpower enemies with sign or tank builds, the way Geralt helicopter spins at every random enemy across the map from him makes him more a dancer than a fighter, a bad one at that. 360 leapt at some nameless goon while fighting, they quickly slapped him with a club and I died in 1 hit, evidently the thugs have better fight experience than this nearly 100 year old witcher.

After owning this game and repeatedly giving up on it since getting it on sale around 2016-2017. I'm finally enjoying it but the combat is definitely something I hope they improve in TW4. Yes every time I'm in a fight I just imagine Geralt trying his hardest to win a dance competition against some Prima ballerina's 😂. Theres times he just randomly does things that make no sense and even worse when escaping from battle the controls are horrible especially since his climbing is disabled, I could have escaped easily the other day but because Combat Geralt doesn't jump like free roam Geralt I got clubbed to death 😂😂😂😂

Ah yes, every one of these videos reminds me of the existance of her and the wild hunt, which is something I’m always thankful for.

This may be an April Fools video, but I've watched it and agree completely unironically. 2:06 About those jumps. Remember Geralt from opening cinematic for Witcher 1? THAT Geralt could have jumped around like that no problem, Assasin's Creed style.

finally exposing that game properly i see, ive actually taken it upon myself to finish it 5 times, 3 of those on deathmarch and most all playthroughs were completionist ones, about 800 hours. just so i can properly distil my disdain for this game down to the last nuance. and i will keep on putting in time every other month just so i can hate it even more.

I never had a game that emotionally wrecked me as much as The Witcher. I made the mistake of reading all of the bandits journals, and some of the graphic descriptions of what they did made me stop playing for a minute. They really captured the evil side of humanity perfectly in this game.

Many years later I still compare it to any new game I play and I always realize: it's not bad enough as The Witcher 3 😭

I stopped playing as CP-2077 was a bust as I realized what "GOOD" devs they had were gone. And the updates since R trash. And that incluces W3 updates which made the game worse.

I honestly hate how you have to play the game to experience the story and characters, just let me do it AFK, absolutely horrid game mechanics for a modern game!
